Google related searches

Hello,
Are the related searches, the words that I should use when writing my content.
For ex : when I type online spreadsheet in google, in the related searches it list online spreadsheet open source and spreasheet download.
Does it means that when writing content I should included those terms in order to be relevant on the keyword online spreadsheet ? because they are considered closely related by google ?

It's my understanding that simply having them in the same body copy, and perhaps in some headings as well, will suffice.

Thank you for your reply. Do the keyword I use need to be in the same sentence as my main (the keyword I want to rank for) or can they be in sentences nearby.
Saying something like :" Online spreadsheet to download for free". ( in bold are the related keyword that I write In the same sentence) or can it be something like this (where the related keywords are in another sentence: Online spreadsheet is the future. Download a template for free.

I think what you're referring to is "semantic search," regarding searcher intent and closely related keywords.

I would say the goal in any content writing is to provide quality content that thoroughly answers your users questions. Google's related searches and "People Also Ask" features are a great way to find out what kinds of questions your audience has regarding a given subject - like online spreadsheets.
All in all, I would say the answer to your question is yes: using keywords that Google considers closely related to your targeted keyword can make your post more helpful and thorough to users, thus more than likely increasing your chances of ranking highly.

No images in Google index
No images are indexed on this site (client of ours): http://www.rubbermagazijn.nl/. We've tried everything (descriptive alt texts, image sitemaps, fetch&render, check robots) but a site:www.rubbermagazijn.nl shows 0 image results and the sitemap report in Search Console shows 0 images indexed. We're not sure how to proceed from here. Is there anyone with an idea what the problem could be?

How do we better optimize a site to show the correct domain in organic search results for the location the user is searching in?

Quantity or quality in Google+ authorship?
Hi folks, here goes a (hopefully) easy one for the local authorship gurus. For our blog content strategy we currently have two inhouse contributors. Both have decent Google+ profiles and one is in the process of really establishing authorship/influence by submitting guest posts to several industry sites, sharing content in Google+, engaging in conversations in twitter, etc. Posts by this latter contributor already rank page 1 for the main keywords. We now have a new content contributor who is a retired employee from the company and a good friend. He has written excellent content that will be published in our blog in the coming few months. He does not have a Google+ profile but he can have one if we ask him to, but he is not going to use it for anything other than writting on our blog. He does not mind having his content published under any of our current Google+ profiles. Question: should we include this new content under our current profiles or should we create a new Google+ profile for this new contributor knowing that it will be an 'empty' profile? Google recommends to have static links it in guidelines Are breadcrumbs and static text link the same ? or in addition to breadcrumbs do I need static links on my page going from page A to B etc... 404 in google webmaster tool
I have redesigned my website with new web address over 6 months ago and in the google webmaster tools it still shows my old urls with a reponse code 404 and still crawls those pages. How do I make sure they don't appear anymore in the webmaster tool and don't get crawled anymore ? or should I do a re-direct ? Thank you,

I have a site where we have search and result pages, google webmaster tool was giving me duplicate content error for page 1 / 2 / 3 etc etc so i have added canonical on these pages like http://www.business2sell.com/businesses/california/ Is this is correct way of using canonical ?

Google Places - How do we rank
So, google places showing up on search results is great feature . . . But how can we get our results to the top? I mean I can see some terrible websites appearing at the top of the google places with their places page having no activity whatsoever. Is there a trick to this at all?
