Get the keywords Google is ranking my website
-
Hi,
I'm using the Moz keyword explorer to know which keywords Google is ranking my website. It says my website is ranked just for 7 words which I find very estrange...
Any idea? If I use the google AdWords keyword explorer I get a lot more of keywords for my site. Which one should I trust to improve my seo?
Thanks,
Regards

Thanks Eli

Yep your right!
At this time, due to data limitations for international locations, you may see limited search volume data available for the country you've selected. We are working to increase our international volume data in the application, but I'm afraid we don't have an estimate for when volume data will be available for your keyword. In the meantime, I'd recommend using other tools alongside Keyword Explorer such as Google Keyword Planner and Wordstream.

Many thanks Eli
So, Moz it's showing me just 7 keywords because the other keywords are too much weak or are positioning me very far from the first positions.
Then, I understand, I should pick which words I'm looking to rank and work for improve it.
Am I right?
Another topic I'm facing it's that when you access to the site it redirects you by 302 to another page depending what is your default language configuration. Example:
If you've set your browser in English does:
mywebsite.com -> mywebsite.com/en so, all the pages are mywebsite.com/en/contact; mywebsite.com/en/about-us; etc
If you've set your browser in Spanish it does:
mywebsite.com -> mywebsite.com/es so, all the pages are mywebsite.com/es/contact; mywebsite.com/es/about-us; etc
I'm checking the keywords for the Spanish site, and I've set the campaign configuration to use the Spain Google Search Engine but the keywords are just a few and in English.
I don't know if I'm missing something.
Regards.

Hey!
Thanks for reaching out to us!
Our keyword tools are only going to be showing data for keywords ranking in the top 50 spots in Search Engine Results Pages (SERPs). We do this by design because in general, most people searching on a search engine typically do not click past the 5th page of SERP results. Additionally, beyond the first 30 or so results, SERPs tend to get incredibly volatile. So, reporting on these types of fluctuations starts to be less meaningful overall, which is why we're only going to be showing you data for the areas we'd consider to be in your best interest to focus on.
Ultimately Keyword Research can take place in many forms, and many different tools (which you can trust) can be used together for you to pinpoint which Keywords to go for.
I hope that helps,
Eli

No access to the Analytics part of the website. Help?
I have accepted a seat on my managers subscription to help look into our website and the analytics part specifically but every time I try to access wither the keyword explorer or any other of the analytics part of the website it appears that there is a broken link and will just show a white screen with only the headers and footers intact.

Pulling Month on Month rankings
Hi, I wondered if there's a feature where I can download the historical monthly rankings i.e I can export a CSV file that details rankings in January 2017, February 2017, March etc and onwards? Thanks

Can you please add Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex or at least Counties to local keyword search areas?
I would like to request that a "Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex" option be added to the keyword search areas. As it stands, each city must be individually chosen, which is not only very time consuming, but also acts as an insurmountable multiplier for the keywords used in our campaigns. Most businesses in DFW serve the entire Metroplex, which consists of around 200 cities. Even the core largest number well over 50. Almost all of these cities are within about 50 miles of each other as well. Asking the majority of businesses to only focus their SEO monitoring efforts on a few cities in the Metroplex would be like asking a Hyper Wal-Mart to only monitor about 10% of their inventory at most, and more likely 1-5%. Alternately, if you could instead have County choices for DFW, that would help a lot. The counties of DFW are: Collin County

Dallas County
Denton County
Ellis County
Hood County
Hunt County
Johnson County
Kaufman County
Parker County
Rockwall County
Somervell County
Tarrant County
Wise County The three in bold are typically the most important for businesses in the Metroplex, though each of the outlying counties listed contain dozens of cities as well, each with their own particular specialties, focuses, and demographics.0 -
How long to see Keyword Opportunities results?
Hello! I am VERY new to using Moz Pro (and SEO in general) and my initial use is to find find keyword opportunities within a specific industry by comparing my clients' site to their top 3 competitors' sites. I have an initial list of keywords from my clients site (I've been tracking it for a week) but have not gotten any results from the competitors I'm tracking. How long does it take to see these keyword opportunities? My immediate goal (at this point): Supply my client a keyword audit of 30 keywords within their industry. Any suggestions on how to do this? Maybe I'm not going about it the right way? Or, do I just have to wait until the other sites I'm tracking populate data? Thank you for your help/advice! -SEO Newbie

New SERP Features Cumbersome. Bring Back the Old Ranking Setup!
Does anyone else hate the new SERP Features section? Well, let me start over. I do not hate that section, I hate that that data was removed from the main rankings page. It was very convenient to be able to see that my site was ranking # for organic and also listed in the Local listings. All in one place. Now, I have to go to 2 different places to get that data. When you are tracking more than 5 keywords, going back and forth will make your head spin. (Yes, I know you can get all the data in a cv file. That's still an additional, unnecessary step when you need a quick ranking update). Also, when the local/image/video/etc. emblems were shown on the main ranking page, you could hover over the emblem and see who was ranking on the first page for that vertical. Now that data is completely gone. Suggestions for where to find this data? A bright local membership? Thanks for listening to me rant. Moz, if you are listening, please bring back the old ranking page!

Can you add a "Show All" to Rankings Pagination?
For some reason, you've decided to paginate the Rankings page. You state the community has requested it, however I find it far less user-friendly and more time consuming. A feature that would fix it for me is to add a "Show All" link. A "Show All" is common in pagination, not sure why it was left off. Here is why I want it - supporting statement: "Since page lengths are changing, and I've exhausted keywords for one of my clients, I am going back and rewriting copy. I am choosing which pages to rewrite based ranking and they have over a couple hundred keywords so pages 1, 2, 3.....14 does me no good and takes forever to find page 10 or 9 or whatever page has the rankings that are in the 11-20 spot so I know which ones to plan for the next month. It's a valid concern. If your software slows me down over prior versions, I don't care what anyone "wanted", it's not smart."

What tool will check my keyword rank alongside search volume for that keyword?
Hello Moz Community, I'm wondering if there is a tool (or a function with Moz Pro) that will check my keyword rank alongside search volume for that keyword. I'm able to see my keyword rankings in Moz Pro, but can't see search volume for those keywords. I'd love to prioritize which lower-ranking keywords should be improved based on their search volume. Any ideas? Thanks! Robert
