Download of current keyword rankings WITHOUT historical data
-
Hi there,
I would like to download the current keyword rankings within a campaign without the historical data i.e. I need only ONE row for each keyword.
I read an earlier post that suggested setting the data parameters within the last update period but I can't do this on my MOZ interface - whatever I set the dates to, I still get multiple rows for each keyword.
I guess there must be a way to do what I need but I can't see it! Please advise.
Many thanks

Hi Joe,
You can select the date range in Campaign - Rankings located in the upper right-hand corner. Once you have your desired date range, just export the CSV and it will include all ranking collection dates in the specified range.
Hope that helps!

Hi - Thanks for posting!
Exporting a CSV of Rankings data from a campaign will always include at least 2 collection dates, unfortunately. This is to show a comparison/rate of change. A workaround would be to select "Last Week" from the date range and then just remove the older dated rows from the CSV. Hopefully, that helps to clarify, and sorry for any inconvenience that causes.
Best,

I might be a rookie - but I am looking for exactly what you get.
How do I get historical rankings by keyword?

Does Organic CTR from Keyword Explorer show percentage of 1st position clicks? If not, how to calculate?
I have two questions about the Organic CTR number from the Moz Keyword Explorer tool. I have read through the description here, but it is not very clear on what I need to know: https://moz.com/community/q/what-is-a-good-keyword-opportunity-score Does it calculate the percent of searchers that are likely to click on ANY of links from page one of the traditional organic search results? Or does it calculate the percent of searchers that are likely to click on the NUMBER 1 position of the traditional organic search results? I suspect the answer will be that it calculates the percentage of clicks for any of the traditional organic search results from page one. Which leads me to question two... I'm trying to calculate the estimated search traffic from each keyword if there was a number 1 ranking. And if the Organic CTR shows the percentage of clicks going to any of the traditional organic search results I need to add a modifier to my formula which will calculate how many clicks the number 1 ranking receives. So I think the formula would will look something like this: Monthly website traffic from keyword = monthly search traffic * Organic CTR * Number 1 Position CTR. In this case, what would I use for the "Number 1 Position CTR" modifier?

Keyword Lists - Omitting Keywords
I've had trouble adding keywords to Keyword Lists - specifically when I add a large list of keywords (400+), and only 50 or 75 keywords are analyzed. Is there a reason this happens?

Moz Pro Question: Does the amount of keywords you are allowed to search reset each month?
I am a Moz Pro subscriber and I really love the new Keyword Explorer tool. One question I have that I couldn't find a clear answer was regarding the number of monthly keyword queries. Do they reset each month? I hope they do.

Is Keyword Difficulty tool algorithm changed ?
I'm very confused about this. From today, I realized that your algorithm for this tool changed. For example, I have search KC for this keyword before: suitcases for kids has KC is 23. But today I checked it again and it's 43. How can I deal with this new data? Is KC is good for determine that a keyword is easy to rank for ?

Keyword Difficulty and Analysis : no search volume
Hi, When I use your tool, I've never a search volume (local and global) when I'm using this tool on Google Belgium French. But If I use Google US, I've no problem. Do you have an explanation? Is it because there is not enough volume in Belgium? Regards, Jonathan

Rankings Tool Shows 'Wed' for Most Keywords
Hi Folks, I have 300 keywords in the moz rankings tool but I would say over 90% of them simply show a 'WED' icon instead of the icon. It has been like this for nearly 3 weeks now. Any ideas why this is? Cheers Gaz
