I posted here recently concerned about a drop in rankings. I'm yet to figure out what happened and thought I'd post a screenshot of the loss of impressions to see if anyone can help?

How long has it been since your rankings have disappeared?

No alerts no. I've been guest blogging through MyGuestBlog and been careful to vary my anchor text and checking the authority of sites in OSE before I post to them. I've done everything by the book as far as I can see.

Have you been using any blackhat linkbuilding techniques? When you log into Google Webmaster tools, are there any alerts?

My rankings have dissapeared completely. Site is still indexed though and no webmaster tools errors. The site is http://www.top-10-dating-reviews.com (there is some adult content).

Can anyone help me diagnose an indexing/sitemap issue on a large e-commerce site?
Hey guys. Wondering if someone can help diagnose a problem for me. Here's our site: https://www.flagandbanner.com/ We have a fairly large e-commerce site--roughly 23,000 urls according to crawls using both Moz and Screaming Frog. I have created an XML sitemap (using SF) and uploading to Webmaster Tools. WMT is only showing about 2,500 urls indexed. Further, WMT is showing that Google is indexing only about 1/2 (approx. 11,000) of the urls. Finally (to add even more confusion), when doing a site search on Google (site:) it's only showing about 5,400 urls found. The numbers are all over the place! How can i solve this redirect chain issue?
Hey, can somebody explain to me how can I solve this redirect chain issue? I tried redirecting /contact-us directly to **/contact/ **but this causes a chain of redirects of infinite dimensions. I don't know how to find the old redirect and delete it. Is there such an option? Thank you! byA7l

Can subdomains avoid spam penalizations?
Hello everyone, I have a basic question for which I couldn't find a definitive answer for. Let's say I have my main website with URL: www.mywebsite.com And I have a related affiliates website with URL: affiliates.mywebsite.com Which includes completely different content from the main website. Also, both domains have two different IP addresses. Are those considered two completely separate domains by Google? Can bad links pointing to affiliates.mywebsite.com affect www.mywebsite.com in any way? Thanks in advance for any answer to my inquiry!

Bypassing Google, Data Highlighter and Webmaster tools
eLLo! Has anyone used Data Highlighter? I've had colleagues mentioning a jump in CTR after using the data highlighter on pages. Thought I'll do the same and went into my webmaster tools but I've hit a brick wall. Whenever I highlight a product page, my country selector pops up and I'm unable to highlight a product page. A colleague of mine mentioned to bypass google by basing it on user agent, this will allow you to avoid the country selector. But if I bypass Google, wouldn't it affect Google Analytics, Indexing etc?

Old deleted sitemap still shown in webmaster tools
Hello I have redisgned a website inl new url structure in cms. Old sitemap was not set to 404 but changed with new sitemap files,also new sitemap was named different to old one.All redirections done properly Still 3 month after google still shows me duplicate titile and metas by comparing old and new urls I am lost in what to do now to eliminate the shown error. How can google show urls that are not shown in sitemap any more? Looking forward to any help Michelles

Sudden drop in page rank
Hi One of our client websites has had a sudden drop in rankings, and also in page rank. We have obviously been off for 2 weeks, so havent been blogging daily etc as we normally would have. Would this cause such a drop? Some keywords have lost from position 2/3 to page 7 over night, and we havent change the strategy! Thanks,
