PriceValildUntil not honored on SERPs
-
I've added some AggregateOffer schema for some products with properties such as
lowPrice
highPrice
pricevaliduntil
availability
itemCondition
priceValidUntilwe change our sale price quite often and I am relying on the priceValidUntil to stop showing the prices once a date has lapsed.
However, I am still seeing the prices on SERPPs once the date has passed. Is there anyway to get around this?
note: I have tried updating the schema 2 days before the sale ends just to make sure Google has crawled the page in time. However Google is still a bit slow in crawling the pages even after requesting index.
Any suggestion is welcome.

hey @vuly
Google is a bit slow as I'm sure we all know when we're tried to do anything with it!
Assume you've tested everything via https://search.google.com/test/rich-results
You can also check the search engine console for any errors so that should at least ensure the code is working all ok.You're in a tricky spot as you're changing on-page elements and hoping Google will keep up, its a rock and a hard place. Google Shopping is a totally different beast and might work better for that if you needed a quicker turnaround. The best advice I could offer is to ensure on the page the 'offers' are clear so as to not frustrate visitors.
it sounds like you tried forcing a recrawl via -https://developers.google.com/search/docs/advanced/crawling/ask-google-to-recrawl so that was another option I was going to suggests but I don't think it will solve the larger issue.
There is a load of info here that is worth looking into to help too -https://developers.google.com/search/docs/data-types/product
there is a hint that Google wants you to use its shopping system there tooSorry I couldn't be a bigger help and I hope some of the above will at least give you some fresh ideas.

Wrong target content within the SERP regarding language
Hi everyone I'm currently under an SEO issue and wish some advices about it. My problem is that, Google doesn't show the great pages within the SERPs regarding the languages. In fact, I translated some content in Italian, German, French etc ... When someone use the branding name of the project to seek out it by google, if this guy is French, German, music or something else, Google shows English version within the results. I in fact would really like google showing the German version for a German guy within the SERP ... I already made properly my hreflang tags. Some tips to repair it? Thanks tons in advance!

Preserving SERPs during a New SIte Launch
Hi there, Thank you so much for taking time out of your day to help. You people are stellar. When launching a new site with concern for preserving the site's organic placement, which attributes or data are the most important to keep consistent from the old site to the new one? For example, site structure, urls, meta data, image file names, and so on. Thanks again!

Moving site to new domain without access to redirect from old to new. How can I do this with as little loss to SERP results as possible?
I've been hired to build a new site for a customer. They were duped by some shady characters at goglupe.com (If you can reach them, tell them they are rats--phone is disconnected, address is a comedy club on Mission in SF). Glupe owns the domain name and would not transfer or give FTP access prior to dropping off the face of the earth. The customer doesn't want to chase after them with lawyers, so we are moving on. New domain, new site with much of the same content as previous site. All that I have access to is the old wordpress site. I plan to build the new site, then remove all pages/posts from the old site. Is there anything I can do to salvage the current page 1 ranking? Obviously, the new domain will take some time to get back there. Just hoping to avoid any pitfalls or penalties if I can. If I had complete access, I would follow all the standard guidelines. But I don't. Any thoughts? Thanks! Chris

Recent drop in SERP from #1 to #2\.
Our #1 priority keyword, which we've ranked #1 for years, suddenly we're #2. And, the page listed above us doesn't seem to be even compete. Moz On-Page has us at an A and them at a C. When I review the html, I don't even seem any exactly keyword match or matching text on the page. I checked are ranking last week and didn't notice any change - so I've narrowed it down to something changing in the last 4-5 days. Also of note, when I test, We're #1 on mobile, #2 on desktop. Sorry to not list the url's. omitted intentionally. Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

Irrelevant Landing Pages are Ranking on Google SERP
Hi, I have noticed that Google likes to rank random pages on my site higher in the SERPs than the actual relevant content page for that service. Please let me know why it is happening?

When you add 10.000 pages that have no real intention to rank in the SERP, should you: "follow, noindex" or disallow the whole directory through robots? What is your opinion?
I just want a second opinion 🙂 The customer don't want to loose any internal linkvalue by vaporizing link value though a big amount of internal links. What would you do?

Local Showroom Tel Showing Up in SERP for Branded Term Search?
We encountered an issue: when user search for a branded term in UK on Google UK, one of the showroom got listed in SERP under site links as a location with Location icon and takes over a few lines - their address and phone number are displayed. This caused confusion for user as it's only one of our showrooms and we don't want to direct calls to the showroom this way. I'm suspecting somehow the localization factor came into play but not sure how to remove the showroom phone number from being displayed. Anyone has any insight/experience with this? Thanks

Hi, I have been doing seo for this client based in Sri lanka for almost 8 months now. Since we started SEO we had set up geographic target setting to UK through google webmaster tools. At the moment Site is completely ranking higher on google uk & other countries except Sri Lanka . On Google.lk site doesn't even come within 1st 5 pages for keywords which are ranked on1st page in other countries ? What do you think about this ? How does it happen ?
