I feel like I'm wasting time by going out and creating backlinks for a new page to increase page authority, especially when I've already got the domain link for domain authority.
In your opinion, how important is it to go out and create back links for a page? - am I wasting time I could be using towards creating more great content?

Page authority is extremely underrated. Even if you have a low domain authority, if you have a high page authority, you can rank above places like Wikipedia or others.
Moz treats all the links as no-follow so they don't actually help with indexing but as a random example if you had a root domain eg: https://www.poof.io
and you had a subdirectory: https://www.poof.io/payment-gateway/ethereum
Page visibility would be higher on the subdirectory if it were shared a ton of times with non-nofollow. If it didn't have high page authority and were just a page, then it would be indexed by Google but likely not very high up.

Google wants to know if the content of a page is worthy to show in the search results. So links towards a page are very important, if the content and technical SEO are done well. Links to a domein help to increase Pagerank from internal links, but incoming links from other sites are often stronger.

PA and DA for Homepage
I've been looking at the PA and DA scores for the homepage of websites we have built and have been comparing this to competitors. What I'm finding is that the PA score is always higher than the DA, however on competitors sites the PA is much higher in relation to the DA. What could be the reason for this? For example, some of our website homepages may have PA / DA scores such as the following: Website #1: PA37 DA25 (PA:DA = 1.48)

When I look at the scores for our websites I often feel that the DA is at a good level, but the PA for the homepage doesn't seem as high as it could be compared to competitors. My initial thought was that maybe we had a lot of backlinks to other pages on the website (not the homepage) but this is not the case at all - pretty much all our backlinks are to the homepage. It would be great if some SEO experts could answer this for us. Suppose a website is brand new. How often should you publish new blog posts on the website?
Publishing, say, every single day or fairly frequently, without the offsite seo being built up first i.e. no backlinks; can this damage the organic SEO?
By publishing too much new written work, and could posting so frequently like everyday look like spam? That’s if though the written work is white hat.
Is there a golden rule to publish say once a month until the website’s offsite backlinks have increased?
Please help, as some clients are pushing for content marketing to be added and written daily, yet this seems too much despite them wanting to pay, it seems like it could cause an over optimisation issue? Could it also damage the long-term SEO efforts?0 -

Is it worth buying an entry on Wikipedia-type sites?
Recently I've come across a few websites offering (for a fee) to research, write and publish an entry on the likes of Wikipedia, Citizendium or Wikitia - I thought this might be helpful when it comes to marketing and link building for a brand or individual. Purchasing guest blog posts is a standard way to obtain a high domain authority in-context backlink, but I wondered if purchasing an entry on one of these human edited encyclopedias would be as effective, better or not worth the money? It costs quite a bit more than guest posting and blog outreach, but on the other hand they are authoritative websites that also include backlinks. Any thoughts would be most welcome.

Wordpress Blog Pages, Duplicate Title Tag
Anyone have any experience in fixing the duplicate Title tag on a Wordpress blog multiple pages Basically the title tag remains the same on the pages /Blog/ /Blog/Page/2/ /Blog/Page/3/ My good friend Yoast Plugin doesn't seem to of resolved this (Unless i have missed something?) Is the Page Authority/Rank of my corporate site affected by my blog's PA/PR and vice versa?
If I host my blog on my corporate site (it is a wordpress blog) will the page authority and page rank of my site translate to the blog? And does this also go the other way around? My gut says this would make sense, and I think I have seen it in action with other corporate sites that host their wordpress blogs, but I want to be completely sure.
