What do the dates refer to in seo moz reports

question is in the title - new trainee asked me and couldn't actually answer!

Thanks Sam, i've always viewed these reports as trend reports, but realised i had never understood the date formats underneath them!

These dates just there to provide you with a timescale so you can see how your diagnostic issues have trended over time. The older the campaign is, the more the scale increases until you hit about a year. So for this example (http://screencast.com/t/U62XG8tCbni8), 2/1 refers to 2/1/13 and 4/16 refers to 4/16/13.
If you have an older campaign (say with a years worth of data), you'll see the graph that says something like 5/1, 7/1 [...] 3/1, 5/1. This would represent a 5/1/12 - 5/1/13 timeframe. Hopefully this helped clear up the graph

the particular date format I am refering to is in the crawl report - the dates are 10/1 7/1 4/1 repeated over and over
i have a feeling it is going to be a very obvious answer but, is it the number of days gone past and why would SEO not just use standard calendar dates?

Stupid question: why SEOMOz has become MOZ?
According to their On-Page Report Card the URL should include the main keyword i.e. SEO in their case, so why do they get an F grade If I check their main page www.moz.com for the keyword SEO? Thanks for your comments!

On-Page SEO Fixes - Are They Relative?
So, I'm implementing on-page fixes for a site that my company runs SEO services for (www.ShadeTreePowersports.com). However, I was wondering if there was a way to rank a pages' SEO quality, in general? As of now, it seems like the only way your recommendations can be consumed and altered is on a keyword basis. However, this seems be the reason I have a good amount of my F-Grades. Since my website sells powersports apparel and accessories, we cover a variety of applicable (but different) keywords like 'Motorcycle parts' or 'snow tubes,' because we sell so many different types of products. But, when I look at my F-Grades - SEOMoz is telling me my homepage is ranking poorly for a multitude of those pertinent keywords - but only because my page isn't catered specifically to each of them (IE: 'Snowmobile Parts' - 'Water Sport Apparel') But, with so many different types of products, catering to a specific one is impossible and would be detrimental. Is there a way to see how a page ranks, without factoring in those keywords? Or a better way that I can use these recommendations more efficiently? Thanks guys!

Why does SEO Moz say we are ranked lower than appears on Google Searches?
We are currently ranked 18th for the Sydney Vet keyword in SEO Moz ranking tools, however in organic Google search we are ranked third. This search was conducted without Googles personalised results feature. Is this just an error? Or does it have something to do with Google Places not being counted in SEO Moz ranking tools? Any help would be much appreciated.

SEOmoz PRO Custom Reports Issues
This post is for all PRO members, On January 2, 2012, we found a serious bug in our custom reporting system that made it possible for some of our customers to see other customers’ custom reports. This affected less than 1% of our customers in total (.6 % to be exact). Fewer than 100 reports could potentially be viewed by another customer. We are taking this matter very seriously. 98 accounts were affected and we will be contacting those people individually via their account email addresses. If you do not receive an email from us, don’t worry - you were not affected. Soon after we discovered the problem, we completely turned off access to these reports; even though people may have been provided access previously, the access was limited to a short time period. They no longer have access to the reports whatsoever. The issue has now been resolved and all reports moving forward are functioning properly. Can SEOMOZ do Local SEO ?
Most of our clients are local but we can not get local or regional (for example VA State or Washington DC) SERP results within SEOMOZ. it would be nice to create custom search profiles based on region (State or County) and track SERP within SEOMOZ. Ranking reports and even keyword difficulty analysis etc. within SEOMOZ are misleading for local web sites. SEOMOZ default site setup assumes every business doing SEO serves all over the US. I think it will be very beneficial if we have a choice to select State or County of local web sites during initial campaing set up at SEOMOZ. what do you think? do you know any work around of this problem? Do crawl reports see canonical tags?
Greetings, I just redesigned my site, www.funderstanding.com, and have the old site pointing to the new site via canonical URLs. I had a new crawl test run and it showed a large amount of duplicate content. Does the SEO Moz crawl tool validate canonical urls and adjusts the duplicate content count or is this note considered? FYI, I sent from no duplicate content to having 865 errors since the redesign went up so that seems suspicious. I would think though that assuming the canonical tag were used properly, and I hope it is?, that this would not be a problem?? All help with this is most appreciated. Eric
