Amazon Niche Sites Or Adsense Niche Sites Or CPA Niche Sites for 2000$/month ?
-
Hello Seo Moz guys,
I'm new in SEOMOZ Comunity but I have about 2 years experience in internet marketing. I build 5 websites with google adsense, all of them with about 50 articles, 1k+ backlinks, about 1$-1,5$ cpc, and in average 300 visitors per day. I monetize these sites only with google adsense. ( A LOT OF WORK I can say in manual way, I don't have automate or semi-automate tools for SEO-Link Building )
I didn't make more than 200$ per month and I want to make 2000$/month from online to be really happy.
Can anyone suggest me a resource, a course, ANYTHING to improve my earnings? also, I want to change the business model from advertisements to affiliate marketing. I am in clickbank team and amazon asociates from 1 month and I didn't even make more than 30$ yet :))
Please please please, I want a good response, a respectable person to answer me
Thank you so much!

There is nothing about adsense in particular, or creating sites with that as a model of monetisation that means it is spam. Yes - lots of spammy sites do use adsense or amazon affiliate. However so do lots of good sites and plenty of other things in between. I would though agree that your focus on articles & backlinks does sound more like the sort of discussion I hear at that end of the market.
We run a couple of mid-sized adsense sites and do pretty well out of the - enough to have regular face to face meet-ups with an Adsense account manager. You can imagine that I wouldn't be too keen to walk in to Google's office to discuss those sites if they were spam!
Increasing adsense earnings is complex. The obvious things can be counter productive in the long term. For instance trying to push the click through rate through the ceiling on key landing pages seems like a no-brainer way to increase earnings. Longer terms though that sends some questionable signals (both back to search quanlity and in terms of the ad quality) and you can seen both traffic and CPC decrease.
What will work is going to differ from site to site. One thing that is working well across the board is to serve the adverts through DFP (doubleclick for publishers) rather than directly with the usual adsense code.
Using DFP not only makes is easier for advertisers to specifically target your site, but means that you can sell ads directly. Adsense is an auction, so selling ads directly in fuels that auction and can help drive click prices up. Direct selling also usually commands a far higher price - so we're quite keen on this!
Using DFP also means that you can use other networks to compete against adsense.
My other tip would be to try not to focus too much on the earnings per visit. The logical end-point of that thinking it just to immediately bounce people out of the site by the quickest and highest paying means possible. If you are getting your traffic from google then immediately sending them back out to Google your site has no value. If you want to sustain the sites long term (which as sites are expensive and timeconsuming to build, you probably do), then you need to build on the site and keep adding value in to it. Repeat visits is one of the best ways to measure if you are doing that well.

I'm not aware of any guides specifically discussing what you are looking for, I'm sorry.
However, I am a little concerned about the approach you are taking with your sites. Of course everyone wants to make money from their site with quick turn around, but Moz and the majority of the Moz community are focused on creating audiences and gratifying, consumable content that keeps people coming back for more. I guess you could say we're less Transaction focused and more Lifetime Customer focused. At Distilled, we call this "Making the Internet Awesome".
Regarding your last question concerning the types of tactics people here use, we design and implement strategies that will build relationships with our customer base. The majority of people here are representing their company and their company's services, so they are most likely selling a product. It doesn't sound like your site has a service or product, so it may be difficult to glean the type of information you are seeking.
I would suggest you have a look through the YouMoz & Moz blogs as well as look through the already answered questions here in the topic area that you are interested in researching.

Hy man,
Look....
I don't know where I said the word spam in my question.
All my 5 websites are with original content on them. The problem is:
Adsense isn't the right type of business for me, so little money....and yeah...I need some help in traffic part.
All I need is a traffic resource or a course about amazon and CPA leads
Did you understand? something like this
You say that semi automate link building isn't the right thing now in 2013?
is more about link earning right?
Please tell me more!
I know is very hard for someone else do this and that and then you will make 2000$ per month but....I just ask what type of monetization tactics seomoz guys are using
-
Yikes..
Look, don't take this the wrong way, but from my understanding your site is pretty much the type of site Google wants to rid the net of. And I think many of us would say, "rightfully so." There may be a few here who disagree with me... maybe. And I'm sure we will all have the utmost respect for you as a person.
But to come on here and ask how you can make $2000 per month by boosting your spam site is pretty much against everything we are doing here. I doubt anybody will tell you "oh just go ahead and do this and you'll be making 2 grand per no problem.."
I mean... really?
In short, I'm thinking this is the wrong place for this.

Stopping these scum sites from sending traffic.
What is the best way to deal with these: http://www.goldenclicking.com/ and www.payclicking.com They keep sending my site traffic, however I am not paying for it, and would prefer to stop these sites. The traffic never converts, and I can't see anywhere that I am paying for the traffic (they are not an affiliate, and can't see them on the GDN) - so I don't even know whats in it for them. Has anyone ever dealt with these types of sites previously, tips on getting them to stop. I was just considering black listing there domains so they can't even reach our site. Thanks in Advance. Andy

How do you find Affiliate Links on your site that have not been nofollowed?
We've just signed up to an affiliate scheme because we were sending links to them because we thought their product was valuable to our users. So we now have to go through and nofollow all of these links over 100's of pages. Is there any way that do a crawl of the site to identify all links to a particular site and tell me what page they are on and whether they are nofollow/follow?

Looking for a nice way to add an amazon affiliate store to my site
We are often asked what our favorite toys, books, resources, etc, are and I want to make a page(s) with our top resources that is a nice clean amazon affiliate store. Are there are good resources anyone knows of to do this? (I'm using a wordpress blog by the way....perhaps there is a plug in?) Thanks.

How do the engines look at pages populated using content from an affiliate site?
We are building out a section of our site using an affiliate partnership in the travel space. How would you suggest organizing the content so we do not get penalized for duplicate content? Do you suggest not suing the content at all?

Yahoo Directory VS other established sites
A fellow SEO consultant and I have been arguing the importance of listing on established well-known directories (Yahoo, DMOZ, etc) these days. He is convinced that the $299 listing on Yahoo is a worthy investment, while I think that advertising on high-ranking niche websites (in the form of purchased listing) are far more useful. When looking at Y!Directory, a lot of the links are placed on pages that have PA of 0 (these are very deep URLs, almost a dozen levels in). Does Yahoo Directory's DA of 100 help offset this low PA score? What if you could get a listing from a highly relevant niche site with a DA of 70+ and PA of 30+ for the same price? Obviously there are other likely benefits to links from relevant sites (such as real customer acquisition) but I would like to know from a pure SEO point of view - are links from directories like Yahoo's still worth the link?

Shopping comparison site referral traffic growth
Over the last 12 months we have been working with affiliates and seen excellent traffic and revenue growth from this channel (golf market). Over the same period we have seen a massive (60%) drop in organic traffic and 40% drop in organic revenue. Our rankings are comparable to last year. However we are seeing growth in Googlebase traffic and direct traffic Is it the case that consumers are using comparison sites more that organic search queries. Is there any evidence to support this view if true? Having content on affiliate sites, could it be harming us organically (but as I say or rankings are comparable to last year - maybe a little worse since Panda updates). Confused? I am...
