Looking to pull a report from MOZ with global search volume
-
I'm in need of a monthly report on campaign keywords with rank AND global search volume (not "just" traffic.) Is this doable from MOZ?
More generally, what does monthly SEO reporting to the C-Suite look like for most SEO's? Would be a good "#WhiteboardFriday" topic. We are a mid sized ecommerce retailer.

The current Moz keyword ranking report doesn't offer that functionality. The new moz analytics apparently will offer a keyword opportunities report sorted by global search volume, but I don't think that's what you're looking for.
Probably the most "direct" (still indirect) way would be to pull the volume from adwords and use vlookup in excel to get the search volume per keyword.
And then if you're interested in coming up with a report based on Moz's keyword rankings specifically for C-level execs, then I highly recommend checking out AJ Kohn's old post which answers that question precisely.
And again, it looks like the new moz analytics will have a solid reporting graph that should cut out some of the work laid out in AJ's post.
If you haven't seen it yet, you may want to watch this guy's review of it: http://youtu.be/mnPUfiIj7u4

Hello, Since last tuesday there has been no data in Moz anymore. The error code for the homepage says: '608 : Page not decodable as specified Content-Encoding:' I checked this list http://moz.com/help/pro/why-can-t-rogerbot-crawl-my-site but it doesn't tell me more.

Need advice interpreting these changes in my search traffic
I've recently made a few changes to my site based on some advice from the seomoz tool. I've noticed some changes in the traffic data (see attached image) which I can't completely explain. First, the good news is that total organic search visits is up 2%. I assume this is the most important metric and I'm obviously happy with total increase in organic search. At the same time the number of number of URL's entered on search is down 1%. I think this can be explained by the fact that I removed some duplicate pages (like archives that had the same content as the blog post pages, etc.) The part that I don't quite understand is that total number of non paid keywords sending search is down 3%. That seems like an unexplained decrease that I can't really account for. Any ideas on how to interpret this? Is it also possible that a single week's results can be misleading about how well your SEO efforts are paying off? 20120711-j4ti8ynwi1hn4rbrsppe167m6.jpg

How to run down the actual source of a 404 error that is reported.
In my 404 errors, the second entry is as follows: URL: http://www.virginiahomesandforeclosures.com/listing/0428387-lot-k-commerce-park-franklin-va-23851/REWIDX_URL_CDNimg/no-image.gif Is there a simple way to find the root or page in which this error was generated? IF I visit this page " http://www.virginiahomesandforeclosures.com/listing/0428387-lot-k-commerce-park-franklin-va-23851" without the attached gobble de gook, I see a good page. So bottom line its possible it could be in one of my sitemaps, but I have 50 of those so its time consuming to search thru all 50 for each error like this since I have so many. I am pretty sure its not in my sitemaps, since google has not picked up any of these errors and they have crawled over 12,000 urls so far. When google gives me a 404 error I can click on the link and find what pages they found the link and go there and correct it at the root. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I have more than 1,000 of these errors with the bad url with the junk attached to the end and have not been able to isolate the cause yet. Thanks in advance.

Campaign Reports Question
Hello everyone. I'm new to SEOMOZ and sort of a beginner with this SEO stuff but this does seem like the place to be to learn things. I spent quite a bit of time reading the blogs and found them very helpful - including everyone's comments. I'm not sure what to make of a couple of my campaign reports. I'm going through my campaign reports and have a few questions. I guess the easy way is to break this down. Question 1: Crawl Errors: I"m getting duplicate content/page errors for the following pages. http://www.njsigncrafters.com and http://www.njsigncrafters.com/index.php Am I losing a bit of google points because of this and do I fix it by using a redirect? Question 2: When I look at my on-page analysis I'm getting grades of A-F. I'm figuring maybe I should have some recommendations about what to do but SEOMOZ gives me a grade and then leaves it at that. Besides reviewing my on-page factors am I missing something simple that I"m supposed to click on to see recommendations? I suppose once I get used to the way things work I'll get this SEOMOZ site figured out.

Are there errors in your PRO reports lately?
Working with a new client with large websites. On the competitive domain analysis the numbers for my client and 3 competitors was 48 | 52, 51, 55 For 2 whole weeks it jumped to 68 | 48, 43, 51 and there were some really odd supporting numbers such as total links moving from 107K originally to 806K. Just today, the numbers have reverted to the previous numbers. I am relatively new to moz and like the reports, but this is very unnerving. Is there an explanation? Anyone else seeing this? Added: Aargh. The numbers just jumped back to the previous high numbers. Help.
