how do i work my keywords i pick up to the #1ranking spot

Charles,
Don't pick your keywords based on what you can rank for, pick your keywords based on what will send qualified visitors to your site. Changing the keywords you target isn't going to fix an incomplete or broken SEO strategy, it's only going to lead to more problems - i.e. not getting qualified traffic.
As Ken mentioned, look at why you aren't ranking for keywords and make adjustments. The crawl report, on-page grader, and page optimization tools here in Moz will help your troubleshoot what's going on with your rankings and identify places you can adjust your tactics.

Hi-
That's a pretty general question and the answer is certainly more complicated than a yes or no. Here are some things to consider.
You need to look at why you aren't you ranking for those keywords? Have the pages been indexed and are they showing up in the serps at all? If not, that's possibly a different problem. If they are showing up and they are competitive keywords it may be that you need to do more work to rank them higher.
As for changing keywords, that may be of little help depending on the answers to the first part. Certainly there are keywords that are easier to rank for, but only if you're doing the right things to get them ranked. The Keyword Explorer tool at Moz (https://moz.com/explorer) is a great place to start if you want to assess different keywords.
Good Luck
Ken

How to setup affiliate marketing for my website?
I work for an ecommerce company and would like to setup some sort of affiliate marketing similar to Amazon. 1. If someone was referred to our site and they made a purchase we would pay out. 2. If we referred a user to someone else's page and they made a purchase we would get paid. I looked into http://www.commissionfactory.com/ but wasn't sure if that would meet my needs. Does anyone have any recommendations?

How to rank in google local listings with multiple entities?
I actually have a portal with multiple listings from different users. Every listing is a physical shop with a different address, but more than the half of them doesn't have a website. I was thinking on creating a local business for them and then add a link to my website in the section where google asks for your web address. Does anyone already made something similar? does google allows links to inner pages and from multiple domains? Do you have any other and better idea on how to show in local results if you're like an affiliate and not the direct owner of the shop? With google local listings crowding the serps it should be interesting to know how to fit in there.

Should "white label" sites have a unique template
I am planning on launching white label sites for my company. Obviously they will have unique/valuable content. Is it important for them to have unique IP addresses and/or design templates? If yes - why?

In what ways would an affiliate site be okay with Google?
I know Google has slammed affiliate sites hard. But affiliate marketing can be a real business and had an idea for one, but I would like to know if ALL affiliate sites are looked at as evil in Google's eyes, or if it's just those with thin and duplicate content in the product descriptions. I know they want brands to come up ahead of affiliates of that brand, and that makes sense. If I sold Acme Widgets products, Acme Widgets itself should come up ahead of my site. But what if the site sold widgets in general, with the term widgets not a branded keyword? If all product descriptions are unique and well-written content, on a site that is high quality, would it still be downgraded by Google just because there are affilate links in it? I guess overall the question could be boiled down to, are affiliate sites hit because they have horrible content or because they have links to affiliate programs in them?

Best way to start affiliate marketing a new mens magazine website?
I have just started up a new mens magazine website featuring articles, videos, sports news and photos to help drive traffic to the website. I write all the articles myself and do the social media updates in my spare time. I was wondering if anyone has any tips on the best way to start doing affiliate marketing for a new website? I was inspired to do this by successful internet marketers who make a passive income off their websites. So far I have added Amazon and William Hill as affiliate links as I think my target market will be looking for these types of product links. Also, for anyone who has experience in this, how long it taken for your blog to become successful and make money? Many thanks, Alex

Single domain or Multiple Keyword Domains
I do a lot of affiliate marketing for aftermarket truck parts and I also run a lot of community/forum type websites for trucks. On the affiliate marketing side of things, I usually will find a very good keyword rich domain name for a product, and build a site around that product. Sometimes it works well, sometimes it doesn't, but I typically feel like I have an advantage because of the very keyword rich domain names. Lately it's become a lot of work setting up these individual sites and promoting them. I try to do a good job, and provide quality content. I've considered moving these sites to one central site, like, one of my more popular truck community/forums and maybe start using sub-domains or sub-folders instead. They are all truck related, but they are all completely different parts. Some for performance, others being accessories. Does anyone have an opinion on this? I've read on here multiple times about the advantage in focusing all your link power in one place, but I feel at the same time that I would be missing out on the power of the great keyword phrase domains I've been using. If I combined all of these sites into a single community site, the site's content wouldn't be as targeted, right? I would appreciate any advice I can get. Thanks, Andy
