I have a separate /reviews URL, but want to markup the main page with aggregate reviews and also add preview reviews on there.

Roughly, how many reviews do I need on the page in order to markup with aggregate review?

Hello,

Looking at schema.org and Google, neither specify a certain number or reviews are required before integrating aggregate rating structured data.That being said, we usually start with a few reviews before integrating aggregate rating markup. Whitespark actually has a good guide for integrating this.

Why would the review count be different between the Ad and the Organic result?

A client inquired about this after finding that their review count was different on their Google Ad that appeared in the map pack compared to their organic result right below it. 3rd Party Reviews - Schema Implementation

Hi, Currently my client displaying Ratings & Reviews from a third-party (TripAdvisor) service and only displaying 5 reviews but not showing "Read More Reviews" button to TripAdvisor page. Now I would like to use Rich Snippet schema markup code on these rating & reviews but below are my few concerns, could you please guide me: 1. Paid review service stars in search ads - why is that allowed?

I'm looking at paid review services like Trustpilot, FeeFo and others. I'm told I can filter out bad reviews, which I can't do with my Google Certified Stores reviews. I'm struggling to understand why Google include these in the reviews it uses for the star ratings in search ads. I know it's a different thing, but surely these reviews are in breach of the rules that Google apply to their own "My Business" reviews? They talk about "Conflict of interest: Reviews are most valuable when they are honest and unbiased" here: https://support.google.com/business/answer/2622994?hl=en Does anyone have a take on whether Google will drop these as the momentum builds in collection of their own reviews? Will adding schema markup to copied Google reviews show up in organic search?

Google no longer favors my client's industry with Google reviews in local Snack Pack results, but a national competitor has markup for site-based reviews that are showing up in organic results, which is a big, shiny, advantage. Rather than have to solicit reviews in two places (Google and the site), I'm wondering if it would be possible/advisable to copy and paste the Google reviews into the site and mark them up there, in an attempt to get Google to feature the rating in the organic SERP result? I don't know if this would work though, since I'm guessing part of the reason that Google accepts the competitor reviews is because they are verified purchases, which wouldn't be possible just cutting and pasting. But is it worth a try? It's too bad though, Google is effectively only showing handpicked, "national" reviews, which does local customers a disservice. Thank you!

Local Reviews.

Hi I was wondering if someone can tell me if I understand this correctly or at least my observation has been right? Does Yelp pick up the reviews left of Google and post it on yelp, if you are using the same gmail to log in to both your yelp and google account?

Do schema review numbers have to be manually updated?

Hi! I've had success with review schema rendering in SERPs but have had to manually code the numbers and update those numbers as more reviews come in (which is a bit time-consuming). Is there a way to use auto-generated numbers that will still render schema or do those numbers have to be manually added? I've looked at the schema for sites like IMDB, and their schema numbers seem to be manually added, which seems like a huge lift. Advice/input is appreciated!

How to display reviews from review sites on your own website?

Is there a good way to display reviews that people have left on sites like Yelp, City Search, Google, etc on your own website without triggering duplicate content issues? It's hard to get reviews, so I'd like to make the most out of the ones that I get.

Schema Reviews

Question about using Schema reviews. I believe I've set everything up correctly, and the Google Rich Snippets tool displays that I have...however in the SERP and on the page instead of displaying a graphic of four stars, it displays "4/5 stars" text. The Rich Snippet tool says that it should be displaying the graphic though. Anyone have experience with Schema and know if there's an extra step to take to display the graphic? Thank you!
