Does anyone know what the %5C at the end of a URL is?
-
I've just had a look at the crawl diagnostics and my site comes up with duplicate page content and duplicate titles. I noticed that the url all has %5C at the end which I've never seen before. Does anybody know what that means?
-
Greg,
Were you able to figure this out? I just ran into the same issue and was hoping for a little more insight
-
Thanks Mike, I'll double check cause but as far as I'm aware there shouldn't be. Thanks again.

5C is the hex code for '' (backward slash). Maybe you have a backward slash where you mean to have a forward slash '/'? Ascii codes here: http://www.asciitable.com/

Anyone Recommend HIBU
Has anyone used HIBU as a source for inbound links? I'm really just getting my site started with serious link building. Google sees 94 links. MOZ sees way less than that, but MOZ sees WAY more on my competitors' sites. It appears that the sites which HIBU influences, owns, or has ties with, have decent DA stats. However, they make you sign up for an entire year with no guarantee of results. They say "we'll work real hard" to get things right. But with no trial period, and a mandatory layout of around $500, that's not sitting well with me. I'm just wondering if anyone has used them and what you think of them?? Thanks, Billy

The keyword ranking report takes into account all my website urls? Can I specify the URLs where I want to track the keywords?
I don't know if my weekly reports are reporting the ranking of my keywords correctly. I have added some new keywords, since that all my reports are in red numbers. I don't know if this is happening because I did something wrong, or if is because my rankings are really falling down.

How can I Pull OSE Data for Multiple URL's at once
I'm putting together a link prospecting csv (very basic/simple). I'm doing my own manual hunting for link prospects and compiling them in a list in that excel doc. Once I'm done with that, I want to pull OSE data on a larger scale (MozRank, PA, DA, etc.). I know Niel Bosma's SEO tools for Excel exists, but I have a Mac, and it's not available for that. And I can't really pay for any of the big tools right now (ie BuzzStream). Does anybody know of a good tool or way of going about pulling this data in a way that will save time? As opposed to pulling data for each URL one by one. ANY tips would be GREATLY appreciated.

Crawler reporting incorrect URLs, resulting in false errors...
The SEOmoz crawler is showing 236 Duplicate Page Titles. When I go in to see what page titles are duplicated I see that the URLs in question are incorrect and read "/about/about/..." instead of just "/about/" The shown page duplicates are the result of the crawler is ending up on the "Page not found" page. Could it be the result of using relative links on the site? Anything I can do to remedy? Thanks for your help! -Frank
