How often is Open Site Explorer updated?

Or perhaps my question is actually how often does the seomoz bot crawl the web?
I ran some benchmark link counts for a number of websites about this time last month and I noticed when I went to update them for this month the data is the same.

Finally, it seems to be every 1 month and half, two month.

Its usually about once a month however I never know when its going to be. If you follow some of the SEO Moz team on Twitter someone often mentions it when an update is imminent.

Low KDS but high DA for all page 1 sites
Hi there A KDS report question... My client has a keyword with a low KDS (garden hose - 28). Intuitively this seemed too low, and when I checked what ranks, it is all high quality brand sites with high DAs. Admittedly the specific pages ranking have low PAs, but I can't see my client ever being able to compete with these big boys right now. How come the KDS is so low? This seems just wrong as the metric implies it is a good keyword to target - I know there are always lots of other things to check, but this does make me less confident with KDS reporting Anyone got any thoughts on this? Problem after opensiteexplorer update
i have problem every time put external link in linkdetective.com its always give me no 17.500 no profile back link but when i post old list from open site explorer that list i got it before update it work and give me result but from like 2 week every list i generate from open site explorer it always give me the same result 17.500 no back link profile any help ???

Still Cant Crawl My Site
I've removed all blocks but two from our htaccess. They are for amazonaws.com to block amazon from crawling us. I did a fetch as google in our WM tools on our robots txt with success. SEOMoz crawler here hit's our site and gets a 403. I've looks in our blocked request logs and amazon is the only one in there. What is going on here?

Third crawl of my sites back to 250 pages
Hi all, I've been waiting some days for the third crawl of my sites, but SEOMOZ only crawled 277 pages. The next phrase appeared on my crawl report: Pages Crawled: 277 | Limit: 250 My last 2 crawls were of about 10K limit. Any idea? Kind regards, Simon.

Old Incoming Links Redirected to new pages are not Being Factored on the Open Site Explorer
Hi, My website has been online since 1994. We have old links pointing to pages that no longer exist so what we have done is to create redirects to the specific page where the content is being displayed now. However, when we use the Open Site Explorer, the linking root domains do not show those sites that contain old links pointing to our domain. One good example of this one is: dmoz.org. Am I improperly handling the redirects? Or, what do I have to do so that old links that are being redirected to the new pages where the information is are accounted when calculating domain authority and trust? Thanks, Alex

Possible to force the SEOmoz Ranking Report to update?
Hi guys, I have added about 100 keywords to my Rankings Report in SEOmoz and I'm just wondering if there is a way to force the application to get my rankings ASAP rather than waiting a while for the rankings to come through? I'm in a bit of a hurry! 🙂 Thanks. C.

Only 2 internal links in OpenSite Explorer?
In Open Site Explorer´s tab Full list of Metrics I get for the Page Specific Metrics only 2 Internal Followd Links for one of my websites domain URL. I have checked this metric for other websites and I get some surprising results. Most of the websites get an amount which seems logical take the size of the site into account. But there are a couple of sites more for which I get very low results like only 1 or 2 Internal Followed Links! This is strange because the sites do have at least more than a 100 internal pages which are all linking back to the domain and are indexed in Google. I have checked if there is something strange with the robots.txt or htaccess but I havent found anything. So I wonder if this a failure in Open Site Explorer or can there be any other explanation?
