What are the best sources for finding competitor PPC spending by category?

Can anyone provide sources for gathering paid search advertising spend for competitors, preferably by category?

I as well had a Spyfu account. I wasn't impressed. The numbers are pretty inaccurate. The best you can do is get a very ballpark range of spend. However, I'm not sure there are bulletproof sources for this information outside the walls of the paid advertising provider anyway. I could be wrong though.

Unfortunately none of these tools give accurate info. I know because I compared against my own campaigns. Had a SPyfu paid acct for years and it is a useful tool, but not for quantifying adspend.

spyfu.com and keywordspy.com also gives you spend for competitors and allows you to see other competitors aswell

SEMRush is a good source I use; it will show you the sites estimated expense for PPC spend. I don't know if it can show you how much your competition spends based on category. I have never tried to figure this out with their tool. Hope this helps.

Its locksmith campaign in the US, so you can imagine that the competition is very high. We are getting really good results. almost 50% conversion rate, all the keys are in average position of 1.5, the quality score is high (between 6-10),Search Lost IS, is really low. Everything split to group, zip code, cities, for mobile or desktop... basically everything is going really well. The search volume for the generics is very high but I think the conversion rate on those will be quite low given the price of the products. Google Shopping Best Practices
We have a google shopping feed setup for an existing ecommerce website. We now have a new unrelated ecommerce website and want to setup a google shopping feed for that website. Is it best to add that feed to the same adwords account as the previous website or to create an entirely new adwords account login for the new site?

The SEOmoz PRO tool shows how keywords rank in the organic part of the SERPs. Does anyone know if there is another tool out there that shows the same thing for ranking in the ads section of the SERPs? PPC Campaign Setup Fee - Fair?
We already do our PPC campaigns with an agency and we're looking to create another campaign. They told us that the amount of traffic around our campaign would allow for about $2-3k spend per month, possibly with some additional funds placed into display ads. For this campaign, they have proposed a setup fee of $2k and an increased management fee of $750 -- is this a reasonable price?
