Wordpress tag problem

Hei,
Just start using seomoz pro and it's freaking awesome:) I have one question about Crawl Diagnostics and hope you guys can help me out.
I just launch my website and i get two errors what greep me out a bit. I don't know how to handle them correctly. I have two duplicate content errors what are caused by Wordpress tag's.
If i make more blog posts then i get even more duplicate content issues. how should i handle this "tag" situation?

Follow-up question for you: what are the lettered directories in your example? Are those standard directories that Wordpress adds for some reason?... maybe for alphabetized menu of your posts?

Tags in Wordpress carry no SEO weight. Going forward, I would ignore them completely.
If you erase your tag pages now, it may cause some broken links from your sitemap. I attached a video of Matt Cutts explaining keyword meta tags.

Don't worry. Though you didn't specify what error you got, I'm assuming it is a duplicate content error.
All you got to do is set noindex meta tags for tags on WP. Additionally also set unique meta descriptions for each tag or the tool will keep showing the duplicate content error.

How do i fix the problem of having 2 url's splitting my rankings?
please excuse my noobness. i have a nice site, www.soundsenglish.com which I built from scratch and learned by doing. It has lots of nice content and it does ok, my rankings are woeful mostly cos of all the mistakes i made building it...i'll fix that stuff. This stuff i don't know about. from my adsense i get 2 listings www.soundsenglish.com and soundsenglish.com wierdly the second one gets consistently higher paying ads although most of the visitors come through the first but they are both the same landing page same content -as far as i can tell. when i try to find rankings, use the seo tools etc i get diferent scores, so whatever it is, it is splitting the sites - can't be a good thing. i have no idea why this happens and i have some inkling that maybe i need something to do with cannonical redirects or maybe a 301 redirect. both of which i have little idea how to do. If that isn't enough naive blundering about for you, i have a little more... it occurs to me that this prpoblem is probably happening with every page on my site, i.e. the 'juice ' is not getting credited onto that one page. this surely means cannonical redirects but even afterreading up on them idon't quite get it. or rather ido but idon;t get how to apply it to my context.

Problem with Rankings and On-page Optimization
Hi SEOZ 🙂 I have a question regarding the Rankings and On-page Optimization in the seomoz Campaign Manager. I have setup a website url for examle: www.keyword.com After that created a list of all the target Keywords, that I want to reach within my Website: keyword-a, keyword-b, keyword-c and so on... Then I did a On-Page Analysis for all the urls with the specific keywords. keyword-a: www.keyword.com/keyword-a/ keyword-b: www.keyword.com/keyword-b/ keyword-c: www.keyword.com/keyword-c/ and so on... Most of the urls got the A grade. Now after the Website hast launched and got crawled, I have a problem with the Rankings and the On-page Optimization. The Rankings for my Keywords and also the Grades at the On-page Optimization are only shown for my Start/Homepage: www.keyword.com NOT for the urls that are specific for a Keyword for example: www.keyword.com/keyword-a/ Also the Grades are shown for the Keywords but again only in combination with my Start/Homepage www.keyword.com NOT for www.keyword.com/keyword-a/ What is the problem? Keyword Difficulty Tool Problems?
I was just using the keyword difficulty tool and for some reason, some of the keywords show "not enough data"...I'm not sure why this is the case because a few days ago, there was data... Anyway, is this because it take time for the tool to gather data each month, or is it because there's an issue with the GoogleAPI? Thanks a lot for your help!

Crawl Diagnostics shows two title and meta tag errors but they are false positives.
I got one hit each on "Missing Meta Description Tag" and "Title Missing or Empty" but in the source of my page they are clearly there: <title>Protein Powder | Compare and Get the Best Prices</title> <meta name="keywords" content="protein powder, whey protein, protein supplement, whey protein isolate, hydrolyzed whey" /> I understand there are conventions which may or may not be followed by Drupal (I read an earlier question where ordering and W3C conventions were suggested) but i'm not sure how to fix them given Drupal will just overwrite any hand editing the next time something is built and importantly, I can't get the crawl to work on cue - it works on the automatic once a week crawl in the main campaign summary but every time I've specifically used the Crawl Test tool it gives me a "There was an error submitting your request to the crawler. Please try again later" so I can't really test any changes. Given Google seems to be recognising the title tag - ie showing it in the results - Do I put this down as seomoz just not working? Why does the crawl report say I should have meta description and title tags in my xml files?
Just had my first crawl report today which has been very useful in finding missing and duplicated title tags and meta descriptions but it has flagged up the fact that my xml files are missing these. Surely non HTML documents shouldn't have them (or need them) so why are they showing up in the report?

Inbound Links Report Problem
While looking over my competitors inbound link report, they have a reported 5K inbound links. The first 20 listed inbound domains are things like UPS, and other sites that when I look at them, and the source file has no link to their domain at all??? So are they using some kind of Black Hat technique, or is SEOMoz not reporting properly? Help please.

Blogger Duplicate Content? and Canonical Tag
Hello: I previously asked this question, but I would love to get more perspectives on this issue. In Blogger, there is an archive page and label(s) page(s) created for each main post. Firstly, does Google, esp. considering Blogger is their product, possibly see the archive and tag pages created in addition to the main post as partial duplicate content? The other dilemma is that each of these instances - main post, archive, label(s) - claim to be the canonical. Does anyone have any insight or experience with this issue and Blogger and how Google is treating the partial duplicates and the canonical claims to the same content (even though the archives and label pages are partial?) I do not see anything in Blogger settings that allows altering these settings - in fact, the only choices in Blogger settings are 'Email Posting' and 'Permissions' (could it be that I cannot see the other setting options because I am a guest and not the blog owner?) Thanks so much everyone! PS - I was not able to add the blog as a campaign in SEOmoz Pro, which in and of itself is odd - and which I've never seen before - could this be part of the issue? Are Blogger free blogs not able to be crawled for some reason via SEOmoz Pro?

Opensite Explorer CSV Problems
I'm getting a few formatting errors in the CSVs I export from Opensite Explorer, after I've opened them in Excel. Specifically, in an Inbound Links export, there are several merged fields creating new rows. This seems to be caused by line returns in the Title column. At the moment I'm sorting these all out by hand, but it's a bit of a chore when there are lots of records. However it has to be done, because you can't sort of filter properly otherwise. Has anyone else had similar problems. If so. I'd really appreciate any tips to a) stop it happening, of b) speed up / automate the process of cleaning up the CSVs. Many thanks Ben
