How do I change domain settings for a campaign?
-
So I set it up one of my Moz campaigns as domain.com
Rogerbot only hits 1 page.
I am thinking I should change it to www.domain.com, but I cannot seem to find how to do this. Thoughts?

Hi Stubby,
First, take a look at the help page for sites with only one page crawled at https://seomoz.zendesk.com/entries/409821-why-isn-t-my-site-being-crawled-you-only-crawled-one-page. If that doesn't solve your problem, send an email to help@seomoz.org and they'll help you figure it out. Thanks!

All good ideas, and we will check them out. I doubt we are preventing crawlers or noindexing, as the sight was just rebuilt and rankings have been Awesome in Google, so google is hitting the sight fine. We do have a 301 to go from http://domain.com to http://www.domain.com
I may have found something though. For your SEOmoz campaigns, are they set up as
or
My other campaigns have a * in front of the domain, and Rogerbot hits them just fine.
I am thinking that we had the site on domain.com (I can't remember and it was only a couple weeks ago!), and Roger was crawling fine. Once we pushed out the rebuild, we pushed it out to www.domain.com. So I think my problem comes down to an *
Any thoughts or confirmations or refutations are welcomed!

I think you may have some other issue that is preventing the crawl. All my campaigns use the plain domain.com (no www or other subdomain), and yet my I have my htaccess set up to forward all traffic to use the www subdomain. Rogerbot crawls my whole site fine.
Check your htaccess that you're not preventing crawlers, do the same for robots.txt, and finally make sure that there isn't a rel noindex on your pages.
I'll have to punt on the changing the campaign domain - it looks to me like that isn't possible, but lets wait to see if an seomoz staff responds with a definite answer.

Reliable Tracking of Campaign with Subdomain and Subfolder
Hi, i was wondering if i can rely on the tracking for a campaign like subdomain.example.com/subfolder/ The idea is to measure all the data regarding e.g. one specific language within a subdomain and use the tools based on this data. Thank you in advance.

Campaign crawl re - schedule
Hello, On the last crawl of a website of mine, seomoz pointed out about 1500 errors (ouch!) on my site. I have made some corrections and i just want to see if they are at the right way but the next crawl is in a week. Is there any way so i can force a crawl before the scheduled date? Thanks!

Campaign 4XX error gives duplicate page URL
I ran the report for my site and had many more 4xx errors than I've had in the past month. I updated my .htaccess to include 301 statements based on Google Webmaster Tools Crawl Errors. Google has been reporting a positive downward trend in my errors, but my SEOmoz campaign has shown a dramatic increase in the 4xx pages. Here is an example of an 4xx URL page: http://www.maximphotostudio.net/engagements/266/inniswood_park_engagements/http:%2F%2Fwww.maximphotostudio.net%2Fengagements%2F266%2Finniswood_park_engagements%2F This is strange because URL: http://www.maximphotostudio.net/engagements/266/inniswood_park_engagements/ is valid and works great, but then there is a duplicate entry with %2F representing forward slashes and 2 http statements in each link. What is the reason for this?

Page and Domain Authority and other bits
Hi, I am in the process of finding blogs to have a few articles published with a couple of links in each. Articles will all be unique and relevant to the link I drop in and relevant in someway to the reader However I have a few questions. My site is a designer menswear site, so I have picked fashion and sports sites first and foremost to have the articles published. Now, I have a guy who owns about 30 different websites. 2 of them are sports based and about 10 are fashion based. Around $10-$15 an article. I have ran them all through the Open Site Explorer Tool and picked out the best ranked ones. Now my problem is, how do I know if its a good site to not only list an article on, but to pay for it as well. The sites page ranks are around the 30-45 range, the domains are around the 35-45 range. What is a good range to have? I know the higher the better but is 30-45 good enough to pay for? (I don't mind paying the $10 each (£7 my money) for each one) Also as he is quoted me in dollars, I assume there all USA based, so majority of users are USA based. Well I am UK based and only ship to the UK. Will this matter as much if I am trying to gain backlinks? Obviously a UK based site, would be ideal, but is it a case of getting more external links on the web for Google to find, as long as they are relevant to the user? Any help would be great. Thanks Will
