How do I find the corresponding duplicate content pages from my SEOmoz report?
-
Once I have run my report and the duplicate content pages come up, is there a way to find out which pages have the duplicate content on them?
I have one URL but where can I find the duplicate content that corresponds to it?
Thanks
Barry

Keri,
I am newish to Moz and have slowly started learning how to use all of the tools - its going to take some time and feels tricky right now! I am also trying to locate this duplicate content report and am spending a frustrating amount of time trying to find it, clicking and searching everywhere! Can someone please link to it for me? I am very time poor!
I can't see it in the research tools, is not very clear at all.

Harald, the question was regarding the SEOmoz tool specifically and how to find where the duplicate URLs, not a question about what is duplicate content.

Hi Barry,
Were you able to find your duplicate content with this report, or do you still need a hand?

Hi Barry.
In the Duplicate Page Content report you can click on the number in the "Other URLs" column. This then lists the pages that have been identified as duplicates. If you've got loads, you might want to think about exporting your Crawl Diagnostics as a CSV file.
Hope this helps.

Hi Barry,
Duplicate content is where a search engine identifies different pages as similar. A you want to know from where you can find the duplicate url's, so here is the way;
First you go to your SEO Moz account & logged in.
After that select the research tools .
As you enter in the research tools then you find the various tools.
Then you select the on page optimization tools for finding the duplicate url's.
For more details of the various tools please refer the below link:
I hope that your query had been solved.

2 different pages being shown as duplicate content.
I have a small problem with some of the pages on one of my websites.
Moz Pro | | horkans
Pages are shown as duplicate content when they have no content the same apart from the template. But it only happens with a few products and we have well over 100 products for sale. An example would be these which are seen as duplicate content.

I have a duplicate content on my Moz crawler, but google hasn't indexed those pages: do I still need to get rid of the tags?
I received an urgent error from the Moz crawler that I have duplicate content on my site due to the tags I have. For example: http://www.1forjustice.com/graves-amendment/ The real article found here: http://www.1forjustice.com/car-accident-rental-car/ I didn't think this was a big deal, because when I looked at my GWT these pages weren't indexed (picture attached). Question: should I bother fixing this from an SEO perspective? If Google isn't indexing the pages, then am I losing link juice? 6c2kxiZ

What search engines does SEOMoz pull the SERP data from on the keyword analysis report?
I did a Google search and I noticed that some of the rankings that pulled up did not match the SEOmoz top 1-10 competitors. I was sure not to include personal results. I was completely signed out of my Google account. Another one of the SEO tools showed the same result as when I did the Google search, completely different from SEOmoz's report. I am curious to know where the data comes from, so I can accurately compare/ contrast the varying results.

On Link Analysis tab I my best pages are 301 and 404 pages.
I looked on my redirrect file and found that /* redirects to /v/404.asp.
Moz Pro | | sbetzen
However if you look below at the link analysis the 404 page is getting a 404 error.
The homepage ecowindchimes.com/ is getting a 301 (but I don't know where it is going to).
The third one is also redirected. 1. [No Data] ecowindchimes.com/ ||| 301 ||| 2 ||| 36 2. 2. [No Data] ecowindchimes.com/v/404.asp ||| 404 ||| 2 ||| 34 3. [No Data] 3. ecowindchimes.com/index.html?lang=en-us&target=d2.html ||| 301 ||| 1 ||| 33 So I have 2 questions: 1) should this be fixed? and 2) how? This is a volusion site and I believe the "catchall" redirect was done by them0 -
Does SEOmoz have a Keyword Research tool similar to, say, the Google AdWords tool or the WebCEO Keyword Research Tool? And where might that be? (Sorry, I'm very new to SEOmoz Pro.)
I'm looking for an SEOmoz version of the classic WebCEO Keyword Research that would give you effective suggestions based on a keyword inquiry. I've made the switch from WebCEO, but I'm trying to find something similar to that Keyword Research tool. Am I going to just need to use the Google AdWords tool for this function or does SEOmoz have it's own version?

Why do the Ranking Report emails differ from the acutal Ranking Report?
I have been noticing that the Rankings listed in the emails are far different from the ones in my report once I log in. Any idea what this is about? Often the rankings in the email are much better then in the report. And I am talking about on the same day as the email was sent out, not a week later.

Does the page authority data also considers the on page factors like the presence of keyword in the title, meta text, and keyword frequency ??
The moz difficulty score considers four factors for the top websites. are the on page factors included in the page authority data ?

About the rankings report in the Pro Dashboard, does it track the ranking of every page on a root domain, or just the home page or whichever page you set up the campaign with?
I noticed that one of the pages on my root domain has a #5 rank for a keyword, yet the ranking report says that there are no results in the top 50. So I am assuming it is only tracking the home page. That is one thing I liked about the Rank Tracker, that it would find any page that was ranking on a root domain. Thanks, Lara
