Quicksimpleinsurance.com is not getting any visibility in Bing/Yahoo! Any idea why? It's doing alright on Google.

I have a insurance wordpress blog that is not getting any visibility in Bing/Yahoo! It's roughly 2 years old and has been indexed in all three major search engines. It's doing alright in Google and actually showing some promising rankings. But it's nowhere to be seen on Yahoo!/Bing for any insurance related phrases.
Any ideas what's wrong?

I assumed that if he has a blog then he must have some content in it i have'nt looked at his site.
And Chad, other search engines are like google they like good quality fresh content

In doing a quick look at your site, I'm not seeing too many quality backlinks, and there's little content. On everything but the home page, there is just a small amount of content that provides little information, and there are a bunch of ads. There's not much "there" there to convince the engines that your site is a good answer to someone's query.
How do you promote your site? In OpenSiteExplorer, the backlinks I'm seeing are mainly from comments on an audiobook site, plus a (now removed) spammed link on wiki.apache.org, a press release site, and a couple of other spam comments.
This doesn't specifically address Google versus Yahoo!/Bing, but improving the site should help in all of the search engines.
You need to look at why your content/posts are all redirecting to the home page. If I look at the archives for November at http://quicksimpleinsurance.com/2010/11, I see a list of articles, but all of the URLs have /redirect and all go to the home page.
Additional technical issues are needing to choose www or non-www and use proper redirects, adding a robots.txt file, and also making sure you're using the most current version of Wordpress to help keep yourself form being hacked.
Are you the one that created and manage this site, or is it being done by someone else?

Cocarcea Ion, the original poster is indexed in Bing and Yahoo!. He states he is getting indexed, just hasn't had much traffic for related phrases. I've looked and do see his site being indexed in Bing and Yahoo.

1 First of all submit your site
a) BING: http://www.bing.com/webmaster/SubmitSitePage.aspx
b) YAHOO: http://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com/submit
And remove from your httaccess the redirection for slurp(yahoo webcrawler, maybe you have a redirection for it)

Why is my website not ranking for it's brand name in SERPs but has been indexed by Google?
The website https://christchurch.crowneplaza.com has been live for a couple of months but is not being found in Google search results - even when searching for it's own brand name 'crowne plaza christchurch.' Google has indexed the site - but we are still not showing - https://www.google.co.nz/search?q=site%3Ahttp%3A%2F%2Fchristchurch.crowneplaza.com&rlz=1C1NHXL_enNZ735NZ735&oq=site%3A&aqs=chrome.0.69i59j69i57j69i58j69i59l2j69i65.896j0j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8 Any ideas as to why? I think it may be because their are two versions of the site, http and https, both with their own rel=canonical tags. Could this be the cause? Any help much appreciated.

Start a new site to get out of Google penalties?
Hey Moz, I have several questions in regards to whether I should a start a new second site to save my online presence after a series of Google penalties. The main questions being: Is this the best way to spend my time/resources? If I’m forced to jump my company over to the new site can Google see that and transfer the penalty? I plan on all new content (no link redirect, no dup content) so do I need to kill the original site? Are there any Pro’s/cons I am missing? Summary of my situation: Looking at analytics it appears I was hit with both Penguin 2.0 and 2.1, each cutting my traffic in half, despite a link remediation campaign in the summer of 2013. There was a manual penalty also imposed on the site in the fall of 2013, which was released in early 2014. With Penguin 3.0’s release at the end of 2014, the site saw a slight uptick in organic traffic, improving from essentially nothing to next to nothing. Most of the site’s issues revolved around cheap $5 links from India in the 2006-09 time frame. This link building was abandoned, and replaced with nothing but “letting them happen naturally” from 2010 through the 2013 penalties. Since 2013 we have done a small amount of quality articles on a monthly basis to promote the site, social media, and continuous link remediation. In addition the whole site has been redesigned, optimized for speed/mobile, secured, and completely rewritten. Given all of this, the site has really only recovered to page 2 and 3 of the SERPs for our key words. Even after a highly circulated piece appeared on an Authority site (97 DA) a few months ago there was zero movement. It appears we have an anvil tied around our leg until Penguin 4.0. With all of the above, and no sign of when the next penguin will be released, I ask, is it time to start investing in a new site? With no movement in 2.5 years, it’s impossible to know where my current site stands, so I don’t know what else I can do to improve it. I am considering slowly building a new site that is a high quality informational site. My thought process is it will take a year for a new site to gain any traction with Google. If by that time my main site has not recovered, I can jump to that new site, add a commercial component, and use it as a life boat for my company. If I have recovered, then I have a future asset. Thanks in advance!

Using the same content on different TLD's
HI Everyone, We have clients for whom we are going to work with in different countries but sometimes with the same language. For example we might have a client in a competitive niche working in Germany, Austria and Switzerland (Swiss German) ie we're going to potentially rewrite our website three times in German, We're thinking of using Google's href lang tags and use pretty much the same content - is this a safe option, has anyone actually tries this successfully or otherwise? All answers appreciated. Cheers, Mel.

Are clean mobile URL's necessary?
Adding code to redirect/clean up ugly URL's slows down mobile site performance, so it is necessary if we are already using rel=alternate tags on our desktop/www pages?

Remove URLs that 301 Redirect from Google's Index
I'm working with a client who has 301 redirected thousands of URLs from their primary subdomain to a new subdomain (these are unimportant pages with regards to link equity). These URLs are still appearing in Google's results under the primary domain, rather than the new subdomain. This is problematic because it's creating an artificial index bloat issue. These URLs make up over 90% of the URLs indexed. My experience has been that URLs that have been 301 redirected are removed from the index over time and replaced by the new destination URL. But it has been several months, close to a year even, and they're still in the index. Any recommendations on how to speed up the process of removing the 301 redirected URLs from Google's index? Will Google, or any search engine for that matter, process a noindex meta tag if the URL's been redirected?

No Results for Google/Bing Keyword Search by Domain Name
My site is bestwebconsult [dot] com When I do a search for my exact domain name in Google and bing, it does not appear at all. I have submitted a sitemap to Webmaster Tools. It is a relatively new site completed with in the last month. Built with Joomla. This leads me to believe that something is misconfigured on the website. Please advise, thanks!

Domain Age. What's a good age?
I have a new site that ranks very well and is rich with content. I know that it would rank better but since it's new I'm assuming that it is being held back. My question is how long does it take for a site to mature?
