Microdata and dinamic data.
-
Hi, everybody!
We're starting up a local services website in Brazil. Something like redbeacon.com or thumbtack.com, but obviously different.
So we are developing our 2.0 version of the site, and I want do put microdata in every provider's pages, to rank people's evaluation about this particular provider, and geographic information about him. Ok, we want to use microdata in several pages, but those are more important: the providers.
These data (geo and rank) will be dynamically generated from our database.
In Schema.org, I only found information about using static data to build microdata for my intentions.
My doubt is: does google and bing and yahoo and etc index dynamic generated data? Is there something about sitemaps.xml or robots.txt that I can do to have my data indexed on search engines? Our front-end is the guy who deal with html and our codemaster uses pure php for coding.
Thanks!

You can add them to teh sitemap, but they will be found if they have links, unless your site is huge.
I would add them to the sitemap if it is easy to do, but i would not loose sleep over it

That's all?
Just "don't worry about it"?
No sitemap changes, nothing?
-
Yes they index dynamic data, but try to keep the urls friendly, you can dynamicly generate microdata just like any other markup this should not be a problem

Did We Implement Structured Data Correctly?
Our designer/developer recently implemented structured data on our pages. I'm trying to become more educated on how it works since I'm the SEO marketing specialist on the team and the one that writes and publishes the majority of our content. I'm aware it's extremely important and needs to be done, I just don't know how to do it yet. The developer was on our team for over a year, we recently let him go. Now, I'm going through all the pages to make sure it's done correctly. I'm using the structured data testing tool to look at the pages and have been playing with the structured data markup helper. I would REALLY appreciate it if one of my fellow MOZ fans & family can help me determine if it's done correctly. We do not currently have any schema plugs installed that I know of. So I'm not sure how he implemented the Schema code. I would like to know what I need to do moving forward to the additional content we publish as well as what to do to correctly implement Schema if not already. When I manually look at one of our FAQ pages I see multiple schema data formats detected... I'm not sure if we're supposed to have multiple or just one----> https://www.screencast.com/t/TjHphL7jsI I also noticed in the Question schema data for that same page... the accepted answer is empty. I would image that should have the short version of the answer to the question in it?--->https://www.screencast.com/t/e6ppXkhXd7QS Here's a screenshot of our structured data info from Google search console---> https://www.screencast.com/t/KHj4BGgdrZ4m HELP please! Have I set up my structured data correctly, the testing tool suggests not?
Hi, I've recently marked up some Events for a client in hope that they'll appear as rich snippets in ther SERPS. I have access to their Google Search Console so used the Data Highlighter facility to mark them up, rather than the Raven plugin available for WordPress sites like this. I completed this on 10th July and the snippets are yet to appear - I understand that this can take time and there are no guarantees - but as a novice it would be reassuring if someone can advise that I have done this correctly. We did incidentally resubmit a sitemap after completing this task, but I'm not sure if that makes any difference. I've read that it's the structured data testing tool that I need to use to test my markup, but when I input the urls below, the tool doesn't tell me a lot, which either suggests I've marked it up incorrectly, or don't know how to read it! http://www.ad-esse.com/events/19th-august-2015-reducing-costs-changing-culture-improving-services/

Structured Data + Meta Descriptions
Hey All, Was just looking through some google pages on best practices for meta descriptions and came across this little tidbit. "Include clearly tagged facts in the description. The meta description doesn't just have to be in sentence format; it's also a great place to include structured data about the page. For example, news or blog postings can list the author, date of publication, or byline information. This can give potential visitors very relevant information that might not be displayed in the snippet otherwise. Similarly, product pages might have the key bits of information—price, age, manufacturer—scattered throughout a page. A good meta description can bring all this data together. For example, the following meta description provides detailed information about a book. " This is the first time I have seen suggested use of structured data in meta descriptions. Does this totally replace a regular meta description or will it work in conjunction with the regular meta description? If I provide both structured data and text, will the SERP display text and the structured data the way it was previously displayed? Or will the 150 -160 character limit take precedence and just cut off all info after that?

Divs Vs Table for styled data\
Hello, We're in the process of launching MultipleSclerosis.net and are a bit confused with how to present some specific information. Looking at pages such as http://multiplesclerosis.net/symptoms/, http://multiplesclerosis.net/what-is-ms/courses-patterns/ and http://multiplesclerosis.net/treatment/prescription-nonprescription-medications/ is it better to keep this data structured as divs, and style them as tables or to keep them as tables and style them accordingly. Though not technically "tabular" data, i'm not too sure how to handle this. The text to code ratio is quite high with the divs in the markup, which though i'm not overly worried about, it could cause some issues with the site's indexability. Thanks I appreciate any feedback.
