Why doesn't Open Site Explorer recognize the link from my twitter profile?

When I run a report on my competition I'm seeing their link show up in OSE's report under the "Linking Domains" tab, but when I put my site in there, it doesn't recognize my link from my twitter profile. Any ideas?

Doug's comment above is correct. In general, if a page doesn't have any links to it then OSE won't know that it even exists. This was the case for my Twitter profile until I pointed a couple of links to it, not that having it indexed is of much use anyway.

I just assumed that the my twitter profile page hasn't been crawled (yet). I know OSE is showing twitter links to other sites. (I notice that SEOmoz.org has a bunch of links from twitter.)
Do you link to your twitter profile page from anywhere? Are those pages linking pages in the linkscape index?
Not overly worried about this as links from twitter are "no-follow".

Spammy inbound links: Don't Fix It If It's Not Broken?
Hi Moz community, Our website is nearing the end of a big redesign to be mobile-responsive. We decided to delay any major changes to text content so that if we do suffer a rankings drop upon launch, we'll have some ability to isolate the cause. In the meantime I'm analyzing our current SEO strengths and weaknesses. There is a huge discrepancy between our rankings and our inbound link profile. Specifically, we do great on most of our targeted keywords and in fact had a decent surge in recent months. But Link Profiler turned up hundreds of pages of inbound links from spammy domains, many of which don't even display a webpage when I click there. (shown in uploaded image) "Don't fix it if it's not broken" is conflicting with my natural repulsion to these sorts of referrals. Assuming we don't suffer a rankings drop from the redesign, how much of a priority should this be? There are too many and most are too spammy to contact the webmasters, so we'll need to do it through a Disavow. I couldn't even open the one at the top of the list because our business web proxy identified it as adult content. It seems like a common conception is that if Google hasn't penalized us for it yet, they will eventually. Are we talking about the algorithm just stumbling upon these links and hurting us or would this be something we would find in Manual Actions? (or both?) How long after the launch should we wait before attacking these bad links? Is there a certain spam score that you'd say is a threshold for "Yes, definitely get rid of it"? And when we do, should we Disavow domains one domain at a time to monitor any potential drops or all at once? (this seems kind of obvious but if the spam score and domain authority alone is enough of a signal that it won't hurt us, we'd rather get it done asap) How important is this compared to creating fresh new content on all the product pages? Each one will have new images as well as product reviews, but the product descriptions will be the same ones we've had up for years. Moz crawling doesn't show all of my Backlinks
Hello, I'm trying to make an SEO backlinks report on my website When using the Link Explorer, I see only a few backlinks while I have much more backlinks on this website. Anyone has an idea about how to fix this issue. How can I check and correct this? My website is www.signsny.com.

Major site overhaul
Hi guys and girls After reading all the content It became apparent that our website is a bit of a dog. I'm about to update our site with a new theme and content on moz.com I've found myself becoming so much more confident at all this. I've read all the material I can on Moz re: Site migration but still have one question. How do I find out all the links that I need to 301 before I make the new site live? Solving 'duplicate content' for page 2 of X for 1 blog post
Hi to all SEO wizards, For my Dutch blog google-plus-marketing.nl I'm using WordPress Genesis framework 2.0 with news theme pro 2.0 responsive theme. I love the out of the box SEO friendliness and features. One of those features is that it allows for a blog post or page to be divided into several pages. This results in MOZ signaling duplicate titles for all pages after the 1st page. Now I was thinking that a canonical url set to the first page should do the trick for me as I reason that the rank will go the the first page and the rest will not be seen as duplicates. Genesis does some good stuff on it's own and places the following meta tags in the header for the first page. All looks well and my question is about the same meta tags for the 2nd page and higher that I pasted below this one for the 1st page. Meta tags page 1 of X for blog post Meta tags page 2 of X for the same blog post Would it not be better to point the canonical url for page 2 till X to always point to the first page? In this case:

How bad are poor link profiles for a website?
A client has recently switched to us for their SEO and is hugely concerned about their previous company's link building efforts.They say that they have recently removed over 300 links but OSE still lists 160 links.So three questions: How long will it take for OSE to recognise if the links have been removed? How great could the effects of this be on the site's rankings? If we continue to struggle with getting the links removed would Google's disavow tool make much of a difference or are there negatives that sould be considered first?

'Too many on-page links': doesn't add up...
Hi All, I'm fairly new to the site, have had a full site crawl and am somewhat confused by a large number of pages (82) reported as showing 'too many on page links'. Mine is a new e-commerce site selling a project management methodology. I have about 80 pages which describe individual templates and contain internal links to additional, related content on the site. The crawl warnings define too many on page links as roughly 100 "on any given page" yet almost none of the pages flagged contain more than 20-30 on links. Any thoughts and ideas about (a) the degree to which this will aeffect my ranking in practice and (b) how to resolve it gratefully received! Thanks in advance, Felix

How do you solve this issue? Pages coming up as [No Title] in Open Site Explorer
I see this when researching top pages. I know for a fact that the pages have title tags that appear to be fine on google and our site, so I'm not sure what the [No Titlle] means or why it's appearing in Open Site Explorer. Thanks!

How long does it take Open Site Explorer to register my backlinks?
I have been using Open Site Explorer for the following website http://www.doorhandlesltd.co.uk/ I have been link building for serveral months now and added over 100 links including directories such as business.com yet when I run the Open Site Explorer report it says I only have 10 root domain links.......the ones that were there before I started my link building. Any ideas on why this might be? Or does Open Site Explorer take a certain amount of time to collect this data? If so does anybody know how long this takes? Thanks
