Anyway to analyse Facebook Success?

Great news, yesterday we had a nice big spike of referrals from facebook, GA shows them all going to a certain article (an online magazine type site), but only shows them as coming from /l.php (Report: Traffic sources->referrals->facebook.com - secondary dimension landing page)
Nobody in the office did anything with facebook and that article, so it must be a visitor; any ideas how we can find out any more details about who or why?
It would be great to be able to reproduce as in the 4th April saw more FB traffic to us than March!

That's an impressive looking report, thanks for the tip
Sadly not quite what I meant, as far as I can see. (probably my weak explanation - sorry!)
It shows what people did after they visited our page, do you know of any source of info that can tell us who liked the page, or shared the page to get the traffic, or is FB a black box?

There is a new social section in GA,
Try traffic sources > social > social vistors flow
if you dont see it try again in a few days, as it is being rolled out as we speak

Workaround for importing email contacts into facebook
Hi, Just wondering if anybody has found a work around for importing import email contacts into facebook? The invite email contacts button is not long visible, and I read on a forum that it now only appears for the arts and entertainment industry (not applicable to me). Thanks for reading!

2 Facebook Company Pages - Best way to merge
Hi I am about to set up a Facebook company page under our current brand name Key - however in March we'll be re-branding to Manutan UK. I didn't want to wait until March to start using Facebook (we're so behind!) but when we re-brand what are the best steps to take. Here are my options - I'd love some help! 1. Set up a Key company to actively use now & a separate Manutan page just to secure the page - only using Key until March then merge the business pages (I did read however Facebook won't allow it if the names are different?) 2. Set up a Key page now & in March request a name change of the page & vanity URL We obviously don't want to lose any likes/followers we've gained between now & March Does anyone have any advice or experience with this? Thank you

Facebook Business Manager - Assigning Roles & Billing
In the past, we assigned roles and managed business Facebook pages by sharing admin access with an individual account. However, we encountered an issue with this, as when it came to advertising, billing was processed under that individual account and not the account of the actual business Facebook page. To resolve this, I have begun setting up a Business Facebook Manager account. However, need some guidance. I have claimed access to a business Facebook page and assigned a person to manage this page. By doing this, I can now see that the assigned person has the ability to make posts on that page and to create and manage Ads. Two things I need clarification on however: When advertising is conducted, is it billed to the credit card details for the Business Page? (And not the billing details of the individual it was assigned to) It seems that the assigned person cannot boost a post? Am I missing something here? Thanks for your help!

Facebook Share Percentage - On Blog Posts
Hi everyone, I'm trying to find a way to give each post we are creating a quality status. Since bounce rate on this case isn't really a viable option (Blog Behavior) since people could stay 10 mins reading it and then go elsewhere without interacting. I'm looking for a way to focus on facebook sharing, lets say something simple like "Facebook Shares / Sessions" per each blog post, while I can have an idea on my own data, lets say my highest is 4.1% of all people that go to that post end it up sharing it. But I wonder on average what would you consider a good engagement post, what would that percentage might be? Thanks in advance.

Should I use the URL of the website or of the facebook's page / google's + page? By the way , may I ask what's the source of the FB Shares that Moz present in the advanced keyword analysis report? and are those shares are of the website or of the facebook's page? Thanks,

Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc. Is there value in a presence on them?
I have a client (professional practice) whose father is a marketing professor. He is pushing the client that he should have a professional page on social sites. While I believe having FB likes, shares, Tweet links, +1, etc. on the page, I really am ambivalent about building pages specifically for social media sites.

Do facebook shares of deep links help the whole domain rank better?
What i mean by this is if we were to obtain 10-20 facebook shares for 10 different deep links like these: http://domain.com/deep-page/page-one
Social Media | | adriandg
http://domain.com/deep-page/page-two
http://domain.com/deep-page/page-three
http://domain.com/deep-page/page-four
... Would that help any of these rank better:
http://domain.com
http://domain.com/product1
http://domain.com/product2
etc... Extrapolating, does the same count for Twitter, Google+, etc?0
