Finding page authority for a list of sites
-
I went to Distilled's linklove conference earlier this week. Many of the presenters showed spreadsheets where they had pulled in Page Authority for a long list of sites. What tool can you use to quickly do this?
For instance, I want to be able to copy a list of 100 sites into a tool and have it spit out the PA for every site...anybody know how to do this?

Kane, Matt, Andrew thank you for all of your responses. After trying various tools, I found that Chris Le at SEER has definitely created the best one. If you haven't seen it, check it out below. It's super easy!

I have not seen an add-on to Scrapebox that will do SEOMoz stats. It does Pagerank, though.
There's a thread here http://www.scrapeboxforum.com/Thread-Scrapebox-Plugin-domain-Authority-Lookup from last month that makes it sound like the PA/DA checker does not exist.

If you don't mind paying for a tool, scrapebox will do that for you. You import a list of url's then it can check PA or DA and you can export the results.

Might not be as detailed as you would like but this could be useful: http://outreachr.com/bulk-domain-checker/

You're going to want to read this Q&A:
http://www.seomoz.org/q/use-seomoz-api-in-google-docs-spreadsheet
and this post by Ian Lurie:

Between those two resources you should be able to put together something to check PA pretty easily. Feel free to ask any questions here, though.

Moz Domain Authority 27
Hi there, I have been reading up about Domain Authority being important to rank though I have a question about it. When trying a few google searches and using a tool to see the Moz Domain Authority i notice the following. I won't mention sites or keywords, happy to send them via private message if required. A site ranks 1st position for most keywords including the main keyword that related to their industry, a highly competitive keyword. Their Moz Domain Authority 27, Est. Visits: 265,000, Pinterest shares 72, Facebook shares 191 and unique domains that point to it are 55. Yet when I look at another site, optimising for the same keyword, Moz Domain Authority 50, Est. Visits: 60,000, Pinterest shares 35000, Facebook shares 20000 and unique domains that point to it are 521. I would have thought that the second site ranks 1st for the keyword and the first one mentioned which is in 1st position I would have expected to be on page two or three. as I scroll down the first page for the term, all sites except for one have higher DA, visits, shares and so on. If a high PA is required can someone help me to understand the above example? Whn a low PA site ranks much better for a primary keyword than all other sites that have a higher PA than it?

Why does moz give different page authority to the same page if a visit comes from adwords vs organic search?
When clicking on an adwords ad the page the landing page has a page authority of 26. When clicking on organic search to the same exact landing page the page authority is 37. Why is this. Does moz or, more importantly Google see these as the same or separate pages? Thanks Tom

I can't find any inbound links that I know I have on open site, ahref or majestic. Does anyone know why?
Since the linkscape update before Christmas I have built a couple of links to fairly high quality sites. I can't find them on open site though or the other tools I mentioned. I'm a bit concerned there is an issue with my site. Does anyone have any idea why? I'm stumped. My site: www.emporiumofmanliness.co.uk

Falling Domain Authority
What are the factors that would cause my domain authority to fall? As best I understand it, we would have to be losing links. For example, one of my clients started with a DA around 60 and now 4 months on it is sitting around 47. This has happened with a couple clients and I'm not really sure why or how to counteract it.

How do I get the Page Authority of individual URLs in my exported (CSV) crawl reports?
I need to prioritize fixes somehow. It seems the best way to do this would be to filter my exported crawl report by the Page Authority of each URL with an error/issue. However, Page Authority doesn't seem to be included in the crawl report's CSV file. Am I missing something?
