Websites not being included on google from mobiles?

Hi,

Just had a call from a guy saying that google have made a statement saying that it will be stopping people finding websites from mobule devices if they dont have a mobile domain name.

Doesn anyone know anything about any Google statements or is this just rubbish?

No i havent, and it does not make sence, as having a seperate domain for a mobile is really a second class way of going about things, Bing for examples promotes using the viewport tag to detect screen size and using the css @media screen to reformat for the selected screen size, a much more elagant way of developing for mobiles. is google going to not include site done this way, i dont think so.

Google Bot is seeing the desktop version in cache for Mobile website too.

Hi, I have an e-commerce website that is dynamic(not responsive) in nature. when i check the cached version of mobile website it shows the desktop version in cache. Will it create any problem . How can i tell google bot to see my mobile cached version instead of desktop one.

Homepage is deindexed in Google

We recently noticed that our primary page was de-indexed in Google. When looking in google search console there are no manual actions taken. We did add a few new banners to the site but I have no idea why this would have negatively affected that site. I did add a new page called https://enleaf.com/company/testimonials/ that had some duplicate testimonials that were also on the home page but have since removed that. Not sure where to go from here.

Mobilegeddon Help - Googlebot Mobile cHTML & Mobile: XHTML/WML

Our website is (www.billboard.com) and we have a mobile website on a sub-domain (www.m.billboard.com). We are currently only redirecting Googlebot Type "Mobile: Smartphone" to our m.billboard.com domain. We are not redirecting Googlebot Mobile: cHTML & Mobile: XHTML/WML Using this URL as an example: http://www.billboard.com/articles/news/1481451/ravi-shankar-to-receive-lifetime-achievement-grammy, I fetched the URL via Google webmaster tools: http://goo.gl/8m4lQD As you can see only the 3rd Googlebot mobile was redirected, while the first 2 Google bot mobile spiders resolved 200 for the desktop page. QUESTION: could this be hurting our domain / any page that is not redirecting properly post mobilegeddon?

Keyword rankings for new website good in Yahoo and Bing but no movement in Google?

Hello, This past September I launched a new redesigned website for a client. His old website was a static html site that was many years old and the new website was created using WordPress. With the new design we made sure to use all the proper techniques for SEO. (h1 tages, image names, quality links, page titles, etc.) Plus, all the content is new content written for this site. I've actually launched new sites many times and after a few months usually start seeing keyword ranking improvements from the major search engines. With this particular website I'm seeing improvements in Yahoo and Bing but no movement in Google. I've used Google Webmaster Tools and made sure my sitemap is being submitted, etc. It all seems good, but I can't understand why Yahoo and Bing are working but nothing from Google. My page grades are all A's and B's and Moz isn't showing any big issues. Maybe I need to give it more time? This client is a lawyer and has many websites out there so maybe he's being penalized somewhere I don't know? As I mentioned, I've been doing SEO for about 8 years and have never had this much trouble with Google. I was wondering if you can look at the site and see if there are any glaring issues I'm missing. How to point a framework to your website

Hi, my client use the NJOYN framework to insert all of the new job post on his website. The problem is that this framework is not hosted at the same place that his website is hosted. This create 2 domain name. First: Example.com second: example.njoyn.com How can I tell google that example.noyn.com link with the site example.com? Can I do this by simply 301 redirect the domain from example.njoyn.com to example.com? I know that this is a framework, is there a way to have access to their htaccess file? Finally, is there a way to rewrite example.njoyn.com/job1 to example.com/job1? Thanks alot

Closed Address Google Local

While there are some older conversations pertaining to Google Local/Plus, I am not sure if issue is a bit different. The company I work for at one time had two locations. Both are brick & mortar, physical locations. The factory closed several years ago. To my surprise, the old location is coming up in a few Google searches as a Google Plus page (actually just located it toward the end of last week.) It is currently unclaimed. There are a handful of citations out on the web as well. To remove the factory listing (the one we don't want, which I am pretty sure is confusing Google), what is the best approach? Remove/update citations for the old listing? And then claim it and suspend it using our Google Places account? It took a while to claim the listing we actually want and I just want to be sure we handle removing the old one correctly. Any insight or advice is appreciated!

Google has not been visiting my site

Hi I am working on a site at the moment http://www.cheapflightsgatwick.com and i had the site using a different template and in the search engines for the search term cheap flights gatwick we were fourth and for the term holiday magazine we were 12th in google but now we are not even in google on the first page for the search terms. But now after changing the template in joomla our rankings have gone out of the window. It took me about a day to sort out the site with the new template so i was not expecting any problems with the search engines but for some reason there is. If you put into the search engine www.cheapflightsgatwick.com then you will see that google has not visited the site for four days and also it is not showing the description and instead it is showing details about joomla. Can anyone let me know if there is anything i need to do to sort this out and why google is taking so long to visit my site
