Exchange Links - Problem or Not ?

There's a company that sells a real estate portal sites ready for several companies.
And when they install this system they always leave each site in a file calledimobiliarias.php that lists all properties that use your system, so there is a hugeexchange of links between the same sites.
So you can see with the Open Site Explorer that all sites have the same Backlinks.
This would not cause problems with regard to exchange links?
Loss of position or something?Thank you guys.!

Thank goodness it no longer works now, Penguin and Panda are crushing these schemes.
These are quite common with auto submission/ Link building software organizations as well.

that's called a link farm - stay away or you'll be begging for a penalty. Look at the sites that are currently listed on there and see if they are penalized / rankings suppressed.

Hello guys, Do you think it is worth disvowing scrappers' links on otherwise good linking profile. Sites like Webmaster tools shows that sites like: mrwhatis.net, askives.com prlog.ru bigbozz.com answerparty.com wordexplorer.com scrape our content and generated from 10 to 90 links to our pages. Is removing these links waste of my time? Thanks

Finding Broken Back Links
Hello there I am new here but really want to mend my broken website by myself as I enjoy a challenge! I used to have great rankings but have moved websites a few times (same domain) and the last move was to wordpress. I now have loads of broken links in the SERPS and wondered if there was an easy way to flush google of them as they are getting lots of 404 errors? They really are too many to do a 301 on (I have done the main pages) Also how do I do a crawl of my website for any internal broken links? Too many links on your blog?
In all of my campaigns, I have a lot of URLs with too many links on the page (defined loosely as around or over 100 links per page); these links are virtually all found on blog pages. The link count shoots up quickly when you start using things like tag clouds, showing all the tags/categories a post is in, in addition to all the cross linking thats typical of blog posts. My question is: Does this matter? Do you work to get blog pages down under that 100 link limit, or just assume most blogs are like this and move along? If you think it does matter, what strategies have you used to cut down the number of links while still keeping popular elements like tag clouds?

.Nofollow and link count
If i use nofollow on links ( internal or external ), will it reduce the link count as regard to Google. If there are 50 external links, and i nofollow 20 of them, will Google count this as 30 external links.

Effect of rel canonical on links
Has anyone done any experimentation on how Google treats links that are on a page that is being "rel canonical'd" to another page? For eg, example.com/b has a canonical pointing to example.com/a How does Google treat the internal links that are on page example.com/b?
