Hello,

How bad is going to be if I change my Joomla website to Wordpress? I can check the 100 best pages and redirect them to the new url with 301 but my website has 424 pages.

• If is this needs time, how long does it take to be in the same position?
• Is Google review my new website quickly?
• What about if I make my services more specific and the main topic is going to be smaller in pages? (Mpre social services pages vs. less pages about the main webdesign topic)

I should change my website to WP but I am afraid because now I am in the 2.

• If I choose only the 200 good content and create 100 much better new optmized content?
• What do you think if I broaden my link profile? Now I am SEO optimized to ecommerce webdesign. (Now just ecommerce and I make the : online marketing + webdesign + blog design + seo...)

The Penguin make me 2. and i was 4-5. before, that is why I am afraid of the changes now

Hi,

If the 424 pages are important and have specific content, you need to redirect all the content. You can't loose anything.

If the content isn't specific, You should plan to remake new pages with more specific content and take care about all the SEO factors (check out  all the SEOmoz tools).

Use Webmaster tools to comunicate google the new sitemap. Now Webmaster tools detect if you're using WP or other software.

I did the same the past month, but with a big website to HTML5 code and redirect all the content. The pages load faster and Google crawler reach more pages. In 2 weeks the web had the same positions (but with google penguin update I had a little Google dance contest)

Check your top pages and content and be careful with, plan all your content and menus (architectural page content) and check all on-page SEO factors.
