SEO relevance of Google+. Should we bother getting Google+?

I've read mixed results about the SEO benefit of having Google+ for your company.
I'm sure that a very small % of my sites user base has Google+ so if we did implement Google+ into our site I don't think we would really have anyone following us...or in our circle or whatever they call it.
So are you guys using Google+ for your business and if so, do you think it's worth it for me to if I know barely any of my users have Google+?
Google really seems to be trying to plush Google+ for business, with replacing Google places with Google+ Business and requiring people to log into Google+ to rate businesses.
Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Requirement full bleed image share Google+?
Hi everyone, Im sort of a Google+ nutter and I wanted to figure out exactly what is required for a full bleed image to appear for +1 share on the page itself. I got it figured out and I think it requires: canonical url og:image image wider then 506px type article or page (microdata format) But sometimes it seems that pages without a canonical url still show full bleed image when shared as link when I insert the url directly into a google+ post. My question is if this could be a cached version of the page where it had a canonical url? Don't really know if that anyone is interested but I made a simple tool that checks if a page meets requirements for having a full bleed image when share as link on Google+. Think I nailed it pretty close but can't seem to get the full bleed image to appear for the tool itself do:) Please dont ask. It's driving me mad already. http://www.googlewiki.nl/seo-checker/check-fullbleed.php Try it. Take a blog post url, check it with this tool and then see for yourself if it's accurate. Is it possible to modify the default social sources in Google Analytics?
In the newest Google Analytics there's a section called 'Social' which tracks traffic from FB, Twitter and other social sites. For some reason it doesn't include Instagram (which is the one that matters to me, though I'm sure there are many others that it doesn't include either.) Is there a way to modify that and add Instagram as a social source?

Myth or Fact: Social Media Dashboards Bad for SEO?
I want to start using HootSuite to pre-schedule Facebook/Twitter updates, but am plagued by nagging concerns because I have heard that HootSuite may impact SEO in a negative way. Is this truth or bull? If it i true, how so, specifically? And can anything be done to mitigate the negative SEO factors? Also, does anyone prefer another dashboard over HootSuite? Benefits of getting inbound links to your Facebook account to go through your domain?
Hi, I was browsing a magazine recently and came across an advert that had a text of: domain.com.au/facebook When you visit this address you are automatically redirected to their Facebook account. It got me thinking, is there any benefit to this? It's the first time I've seen it and I presume they get links from outside sources to their FB account to go to domain.com.au/facebook rather than facebook.com/sitename Thanks

So far, I have been unable to find a comprehensive guide to newspaper SEO via SEOmoz, although I'm a big fan and this website has actually made my career!
