When will seomoz rank my website?
-
Hi all, I am really excited to be here. I joined seo moz three weeks ago. Seo moz crawled my website twice and still under competitive domain analysis my domain authority is 1 and everything else underneath is zero. I fixed some errors and warning after first crawl but still nothing in root domain metrics. Can anyone please explain whats happening? Thank you!

Hello Aezid,
We are excited to have you with us too! I apologize for the lack of information in certain tools at this time. We have been working on some major fixes for Rankings and On Page and hope to have these resolved shortly. For an update regarding this issue please refer to the recent blog post put together by our engineers: http://www.seomoz.org/blog/where-are-my-rankings
I really hope this information helps shed light on the lack of data you are experiencing at this moment.

Me too, I have people calling me to "get me on page one" and redoing my website
for lots of money. I can get through the technical stuff ok because I was an engineer in my first life. These tools are just what I need. Good luck, I am sure we will both get up
to speed soon enough with these tools.

My website has been up since the last 120 days. I submitted sitemap to google 60 days ago.
I only have Traffic data and crawl diagnostic. Good to hear that some one is in the same boat. I am really looking forward to optimize the site once I have more data.
Good Luck!

How long has your website been up and how does it rank for your keywords?
I too, joined about two weeks ago.
I do have "Traffic Data", "Crawl Diagnostics"," Link analysis "
"Keyword Data" is not completed I get the msg "We're not quite done collecting your rankings for this keyword in your campaign"
I have no data for the "On Page Optimization" as of yet, dont know why i need to look into that.
I have been going through the "SEO Pro User Guide" found on the website to help me understand
the tools better.

Will Google Also Penalize Desktop Rankings If Your Site is Not Mobile Friendly?
Apologies if this question has already been answered. I was unable to find it. For desktop organic rankings: Will Google take into consideration mobile-readiness as a ranking factor? Thanks in advance for any reply, Kind regards,

Website Migration Query
We are going to migrate our site but we cannot do this gradually, so before we complete the whole migration, we were thinking of launching the new site on a sub-domain and gradually redirect traffic to the sub-domain, starting with 10%, moving up steadily so that we then migrate to the new site within four/five weeks. The new site will have a new URL structure on the same domain, with a complete re-design and the IP address will be changing as well, even though the server geographical location will remain the same. a) Should we noindex the new sub-domain while the new site is on trial? b) Are there any other issues we should look out for? Thanks in Advance 🙂

Links to Website Author
I'm a website developer, and in the past I have usually added a tiny backlink to the footer of my clients' websites like this: Website Design by MyCompanyName I understand that Google sees this as a low-quality backlink. However, I was wondering if such links can hurt my rankings. Does Penguin sees these links as spam? If so, should I add a rel="nofollow" to the links? Is there anything else I should change? I do not want to remove these links completely because they are good for marketing my business. I just want to minimize any negative SEO impact of the links. I appreciate your input. Thanks.

I was googling the word "best web hosting" and i notice the 1st and 3rd result were results with google plus. Does Google plus now play a role in improving ranking for the website?

How long before rankings return?
We recently had a redesign of our website and moved it from a static html site to WordPress. During the development the WordPress installation sat on a sub-domain. Our programmer and designer had the privacy setting inside WordPress checked so the search engines would not crawl the pages while being developed to avoid duplicate content. Fast forward two weeks when new site replaces old. Guess what privacy setting was not fixed. So about 3 days after the site is live organic traffic drops by 80%. Do a little research and all of our great rankings are gone. Notice that our page rank is also gone...Hmm... Upon further inspection the noindex tag is on every page of the site. It's now removed and has been 3-4 days. I've resubmitted inside webmaster tools and I'm just curious what y'all think the likelihood is that everything will come back to how it was before.

Will a drop in indexed pages significantly affect Google rankings?
I am doing some research into why we were bumped from Google's first page into the 3rd, fourth and fifth pages in June of 2010. I always suspected Caffeine, but I just came across some data that indicates a drop in indexed pages from 510 in January of that year to 133 by June. I'm not sure what happened but I believe our blog pages were de-indexed somehow. What I want to know is could that significant drop in indexed pages have had an effect on our rankings at that time? We are back up to over 500 indexed pages, but have not fully recovered our first page positions.
