Services Page vs Page For Each Service Offered

I agree with Robert. Focus on keywords.
I don't sell "services" but I do sell "products" and for the products that pull in a lot of money I have a product page and an article page. The article page describes how to use it, how to fix it, how to save money with it, etc. Both of those pages pull in traffic but the article page is the one that attracts links, likes, etc.

Write a great article about this and post it on your blog. Then you can show it to dozens of clients and thousands of prospects.

Thanks Robert but there's a certain... authority that comes in being able to present your clients with a link to an article to support your proposals so I'm probably going to go crazy looking for it.

You could have seen it in a thousand places as it is fairly well written about.
With our clients, we don't have services pages as we want to focus on pages with titles around keywords. So, if they work on Autos, we would have certain categories listed: Front End, Tires, Engines, mufflers, etc.
The same can be said for Home. Many times we substitute the company name for the "home" page.

How do I fix a broken link to a product category page in wordpress?
We are building a new site currently at http://67.222.109.48/~cheapnan/ I started doing some SEO after the developer I hired failed to do it even though it was in the agreement. I did our old site so I should be able to do this but I am new to wordpress. Now when i go to the products tab at the top of the page the first 2 have broken links, I checked the rest and there are 3 total that I need to fix. At what point to stop comments on a blog? Do too many comments hurt the page?
I have a page that's ranking pretty well, and driving sales. That page is starting to get 10+ comments per day and is starting to get quite long. I was wondering if there is a point where I should disable the comments? My gut tells me that people interacting with the page, and Google seeing responses with the users SHOULD be a good thing not bad. But, then I think that a majority of the content of the page is no longer the article, but the comments. All the comments are good, non spammy and directly related to the topic. People just asking questions, etc. Good engagement, I should be happy right?

Is it possible for a website with only 20 pages to be ranked in top?
Hi, I want to ask is it possible for a website with about 20 pages to be ranked well in Google for keywords with middle concurency? Most of the web sites in the top for such keywords are with much content and many pages. Can you have too many words on a page for SEO?
One line of thinking is that you can not have too many words on a page because the more words you have the higher the chances that a long tail phrase will attract traffic. But can you go overboard with this? Is there a limit to the number of words on a page in terms of SEO?

Index.html vs. default.html
Hi, I have a website that is about 7 years old. I had been using index.html as the home page. When I redesigned my site about 3 months ago I changed it to default.html. The old index.html page was still on my server. I just realized my mistake. All of my links to the home page lead to the new default.html. However, people are still landing on the old index.html. I have change the old index.html to the new design but that means i have 2 "home" pages out there. Should i delete one? Should I leave them both there but use the canonical tag for one so it is not considered duplicate content? What is best for my rankings?
