So noob while adding competitors, why i can't add sub-directory or specific url?
-
I try to add my competitors but failed, but there is only sub domain we can add to competitors, so how can i add a sub-directory or specific url to my competitors?
-
I'm not sure, but I think you are talking about SEOMoz tool for analyzing competitors.
When I added www.website.com/blog it showed up www.website.comblog I guess this is your problem
It's only possible to add the root domain of competitor.

Moz-Specific 404 Errors Jumped with URLs that don't exist
Hello, I'm going to try and be as specific as possible concerning this weird issue, but I'd rather not say specific info about the site unless you think it's pertinent. So to summarize, we have a website that's owned by a company that is a division of another company. For reference, we'll say that: OURSITE.com is owned by COMPANY1 which is owned by AGENCY1 This morning, we got about 7,000 new errors in MOZ only (these errors are not in Search Console) for URLs with the company name or the agency name at the end of the url. So, let's say one post is: OURSITE.com/the-article/ This morning we have an error in MOZ for URLs OURSITE.com/the-article/COMPANY1 OURSITE.com/the-article/AGENCY1 x 7000+ articles we have created. Every single post ever created is now an error in MOZ because of these two URL additions that seem to come out of nowhere. These URLs are not in our Sitemaps, they are not in Google... They simply don't exist and yet MOZ created an an error with them. Unless they exist and I don't see them. Obviously there's a link to each company and agency site on the site in the about us section, but that's it.

How can I tell what day I added my keywords to the keyword ranking tool?
I can't tell if a keyword is newly ranking or if it just started ranking because I added it to the system. I have added keywords piecemeal over several months and I can't remember which ones I added on which date. Can anyone help me with this?

Do I have to set up new SEOmoz campaigns after URL switch?
We switched hundreds of pages on our website from dynamic to static URLs (and optimized the static URLs for keywords), and did 301 redirects to the new URLs. Also submitted a new sitemap to Google. This was about a week ago. For my existing SEOmoz campaigns that have crawled since then, it looks like SEOmoz is still looking at all of the old dynamic URLs. Do I have to set up new campaigns with the same keywords in order to get SEOmoz to look at the new URLs, or will the SEOmoz crawlers figure it out over time? Or am I doing something wrong? Thanks for your help!

How can I find my past KW rankings?
I want to know how I can find out how a client's site was ranking for keywords at the beginning of the campaign so I can compare it with current rankings. I haven't been generating reports regularly. I kinda assumed I could ask for the reports retroactively. As in, what was the ranking of my keywords from the first crawl done by SEO moz. Thanks!

Do you have a plan that can comprises up to 70 campaingns?
I have a client that has between 60 and 70 websites. I has recommended to him the setup of at least one campaign per website. However, the bigger plan SEOmoz not covers up to 70 campaigns in a single account. What you recommend to do in this case?

Handling long URLs and overly-dynamic URLs on eCommerce site
Hello Forum, I've been optimizing an eCommerce site and our SEOmoz crawls are favorable for the most part, except for long URLs and overly-dynamic URLs. These issues stem from two URL types: Layered navigation (faceted search) and non-Google internal search results. I outline the issues for each below. We use an SEO-friendly URL structure for our product category pages, but once bots start "clicking" our layered navigation options, all the parameters are appended to our SEO-friendly urls, causing the SEOmoz crawl warnings. Layered Navigation :
Moz Pro | | pano
SEO-Friendly Category Page: oursite.com/shop/meditation-cushions.html Effects of layered navigation: oursite.com/shop/meditation-cushions.html?bolster_material_quality=414&bolsters_appearance=206&color=12&dir=asc&height=291&order=name As you can see the parameters include product attributes and page sorts. I should note that all pages generated by these parameters use the element to point back to the SEO-friendly URL We have also set up Google's Webmaster Tools to handle these parameters. Internal Search Function:
Our URLs start off simple: oursite.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=brown. Then the bot clicks all the layered navigation options, yielding oursite.com/catalogsearch/result/index/?appearance=54&cat=67&clothing_material=83&color=12&product_color=559&q=brown. Also, all search results are set to noindex, follow. My question is: Should we worry about these overly-dynamic and long ULR warnings? We have set up canonical elements, "noindex, follow" solutions, and configured Webmaster Tools to handle our parameters. If these are a concern, how would you resolve these issues?0
