In our SEO package that we use to sell our product to clients we list Social Bookmarking as one of the services we provide.
What is the appropriate amount of social bookmarks that we should obtain monthly? How heavily do these weigh in your opinion?

Great content can get some good attention through social bookmarking. As you probably know, most of the popular bookmarking services are no-follow until a link attains a certain level of "popularity".

Personally, I submit each piece of content to about 10 social bookmarking sites. I would focus on the quality bookmarking sites, they can drive some serious traffic and help get your content indexed quickly.

Recommended Social Media Scheduling platforms
I am currently using BufferApp to schedule my social media posts. My scheduling gets messed up at least once per month, where I lose posts or days are skipped, etc. without any changes (and even when I can see the expected schedule). I have used Hootesuite in the past and I like it, but I prefer Buffer when it works. Is there something else that works as good as Buffer used to? Thank you.

Social shares: A ranking factor or not?
Open Site Explorer lists them and every so-called SEO expert says social signals/shares are a ranking factor. Everyone but Matt Cutts, it would seem. So if they're not a ranking factor, why show them in Open Site Explorer?

Social channels, tools sites for promoting a blog or article
Hello, I would like to promote blogs, articles etc. Can you give me some tips, advice on how to promote these? I guess everyone starts with Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. After that, Reddit, StumbleUpon. Any other good ways (penguin proof) to promote a blog, article etc? Any tools you use: SocialOomph or something similar? Thanks! 🙂
