Hello!

I've noticed when doing press releases for some reason mobile rank is different than online? Is there a reason for this? They are optimized for seo and some rank much better on a mobile google search. Has anyone else experienced this?

Google uses a different data source for it's mobile results. From my experience, mobile results can greatly differ based on the location of the searcher.

Duplicate Meta Descriptions in Press Releases

We have a client that does multiple press releases a year. One issue we noticed is that every press release has the same meta description tag and the duplicates are starting to really add up. Unfortunately the client does not want to create specialized meta descriptions for new press releases due to legal restrictions (every new meta description must be reviewed). What should we do about this?

Merging 4 websites into one for a new site release (301 question)

Hi guys and girls, I have a client that has 4 very outdated websites with about 50 pages on each. They are made up like: 1 brand group and 3 for each individual key service they offer, so let's call them: brand.com (A) brand-service-1.com (B) brand-service-2.com (C) brand-service-3.com (D) We've rebuilt the main site and aggregated all the content from the others (99% re-written). Am I correct in thinking the process for the new lauch would be: 1. Launch the new site on brand.com (A) and 301 all the old brand.com (A) pages to the related pages on the new site. 2. Redirect the other websites (B,C,D) on a domain level to the new site on the brand.com (A) domain. 3. Clean up the old URL's, sitemaps, errors in Google WMT Is this right? Anything I missed/better practices? I was also wondering if I should redirect B,C,D in stages, or use page level redirects.

How many keyword links is optimal for Press Releases?

After the Penguin update I've read differing opinions on how many keyword links is best to use in press releases. We've been using 3 different keyword links, plus our home page url brand link. Does anyone have any solid information on how many links is best in google's opinion? I hate to put too many in and have them think it's spam, or over optimizing for unnatural linking. Thanks folks! Press Release in 3 PR6 Sites against yahoo submission

Hi - i have shortlisted 3 pr news sites - prlog.org, i-newswire.com, 24-7pressrelease.com . All 3 have pr6 and have high scores. Have 2 queries - a) Is it worth to put backlinks - by taking a paid press release option and spend around 200$ - sole intent is to generate backlinks b) is the combination effect of these 3 pr sites better than stand alone yahoo direct submission - as have limited budget can do either of them thnx

Is it safe to publish 3 paid press releases in a single day?

Is it a safe bet to publish 3 PAID press releases (on PRleap.com) on the same website on the same day, each having about 10 links to different pages of the same website? I mean... will search engines spot something fishy is going out there?
