I've got quite a few overly dynamic URLs reported like this one

Anyone know the quick fix to this problem?

Another good reason to switch to Xenforo if you have to pay to have and SEO Friendly site. Thanks for your response. I have already switched 2 from vBulletin to Xenforo, so this is a good reason for #3.

Why is OSE showing no data for this URL?

Hi all, Does anyone have any ideas as to why OSE might not have any data for this URL: http://www.ccisolutions.com/StoreFront/product/shure-slx24-sm58-wireless-microphone-system-j3 It is not a new page at all. Does SeoMoz realize about duplicated url blocked in robot.txt?

Hi there: Just a newby question... I found some duplicated url in the "SEOmoz Crawl diagnostic reports" that should not be there. They are intended to be blocked by the web robot.txt file. Here is an example url (joomla + virtuemart structure): http://www.domain.com/component/users/?view=registration and the here is the blocking content in the robots.txt file User-agent: * _ Disallow: /components/_ Question is: Will this kind of duplicated url errors be removed from the error list automatically in the future? Crawl test tool from SEOmoz - which URLs does it actually crawl?

I am using for the first time the crawl test tool from SEOmoz and I do not really understand which URLs the tool is going to crawl. First, it says "enter any subdomain" --> why can´t I do the crawl for the root domain? Second it says "we'll crawl up to 3,000 linked-to pages" --> does that mean that the tool crawls all internal links that it can find on the given domain? Thanks for your help!

Dynamic URL pages in Crawl Diagnostics

The crawl diagnostic has found errors for pages that do not exist within the site. These pages do not appear in the SERPs and are seemingly dynamic URL pages. Most of the URLs that appear are formatted http://mysite.com/keyword,%20_keyword_,%20key_word_/ which appear as dynamic URLs for potential search phrases within the site. The other popular variety among these pages have a URL format of http://mysite.com/tag/keyword/filename.xml?sort=filter which are only generated by a filter utility on the site. These pages comprise about 90% of 401 errors, duplicate page content/title, overly-dynamic URL, missing meta decription tag, etc. Many of the same pages appear for multiple errors/warnings/notices categories. So, why are these pages being received into the crawl test? and how to I stop it to gauge for a better analysis of my site via SEOmoz?

Can someone explain why I have been seeing an increase in the number of Linking Page URLs in OSE that link directly to downloads?

Ever since the last couple Linkscape updates when doing competitive back link analysis I have noticed a large increase in the number of URLs of Linking Pages in OSE that result in an immediate file download. The majority of the time these downloads are not common files ie PDF, DOC files. For example, these were all in a competitors back link profile: http://download.unesp.br/linux/debian/pool/main/i/isc-dhcp/isc-dhcp-relay-dbg_4.1.1-P1-17_ia64.deb http://snow.fmi.fi/data/20090210_eurasia_sd_025grid.mat http://www.rose-hulman.edu/class/me/HTML/ES204_0708_S/working model examples/Le25 mad hatter.wm?a=p&id=145880&g=5&p=sia&date=iso&o=ajgrep These are just a few I came across for a single competitor. Is this sketchy black hat SEO, some sort of error, actual links, or something else? Any information on this subject would be helpful. Thank you.

"no urls with duplicate content to report"

Hi there, i am trying to clean up some duplicate content issues on a website. The crawl diagnostics says that one of the pages has 8 other URLS with the same content. When i click on the number "8" to see the pages with duplicate content, i get to a page that says "no urls with duplicate content to report". Why is this happening? How do i fix it?
