Hello to the community,

i had a sudden increase from just a couple to 50 someting Google Webmaster News Errors. The two areas affected are Content of article and date of article.I found a very good article in SEOMoz about Google Webmasters, but it was published before the changes early last year were done in Google Webmasters. http://www.seomoz.org/blog/how-to-fix-crawl-errors-in-google-webmaster-tools

The people that have been asking the same question in the internet have not yet received replies from Google and the Google support replies dont make it really clear. http://support.google.com/webmasters/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=93994

Any views experiences with this. My site is in Google News, but we do not have a Google News Sitemap.

We have some products with url changes over the past several months. Google is showing these as having 404 errors even though they are not in sitemap (sitemap shows the correct NEW url). Is this expected? Will these errors eventually go away/stop being monitored by Google?

I have been receiving this error for a while: "Moz encountered an error on one or more pages on your site" It's a Multi-Lingual Wordpress website, the robots.txt is set to allow crawlers on all links and I have followed the same process for other website I've done yet I'm receiving this error for this site.

Help! How to Remove Error Code 901: DNS Errors (But to a URL that doesn't exist!)

I have 2 urgent errors saying there are 2 x error code 909's detected. Help with google news application url question

Hi, i am going to be applying to have out site in google news but i have come across the below and not sure how we do this. I use joomla and our site is www.in2town.co.uk and the page we are including is http://www.in2town.co.uk/latest-news-headlines Article URLs. To make sure that we only crawl new articles, please make sure your URLs are unique with at least 3 digits, and are permanent. can anyone please let me know how i do this with the url please

Why is an error page showing when searching our website using Google "site:" search function?

When I search our company website using the Google site search function "site:jwsuretybonds.com", a 400 Bad Request page is at the top of the listed pages. I had someone else at our company do the same site search and the 400 Bad Request did not appear. Is there a reason this is happening, and are there any ramifications to it?

Thousands of 503 Errors

I was just checking Google Webmaster Tools for one of the first times (I know this should have been a regular habit). I noticed that on Feb 8th we had almost 80K errors of type 503. This is obviously very alarming because as far as I know our site was up and available that whole day. This makes me wonder if there is a firewall issue or something else that I'm not aware of. Any ideas for the best way to determine what's causing this? Thanks, Chris

Crawl Errors In Webmaster Tools

Hi Guys, Searched the web in an answer to the importance of crawl errors in Webmaster tools but keep coming up with different answers. I have been working on a clients site for the last two months and (just completed one months of link bulding), however seems I have inherited issues I wasn't aware of from the previous guy that did the site. The site is currently at page 6 for the keyphrase 'boiler spares' with a keyword rich domain and a good onpage plan. Over the last couple of weeks he has been as high as page 4, only to be pushed back to page 8 and now settled at page 6. The only issue I can seem to find with the site in webmaster tools is crawl errors here are the stats:- In sitemaps : 123 Not Found : 2,079 Restricted by robots.txt 1 Unreachable: 2 I have read that ecommerce sites can often give off false negatives in terms of crawl errors from Google, however, these not found crawl errors are being linked from pages within the site. How have others solved the issue of crawl errors on ecommerce sites? could this be the reason for the bouncing round in the rankings or is it just a competitive niche and I need to be patient? REL Canonical Error

In my crawl diagnostics it showing a Rel=Canonical error on almost every page. I'm using wordpress. Is there a default wordpress problem that would cause this?
