OSE: What is the subdomain?

Hi, i was looking in the Open Site Explorer my domain and i can't find what is exactly the "subdomain metrics"!

It check all the subdomains in the domain and make a total score?

Subdomain metrics would be the numbers tied specifically to the unique subdomain that you typed in.

Example, if you entered "www.mydomain.com", the subdomain would be "www", where if you entered "blog.mydomain.com", the subdomain would be "blog".

The metrics across all the subdomains in the domain that you are referring to would be the Root Domain Metrics.

I am working with a company who has created a reservation software...We have been advertising this software aggressively and have been doing well with companies coming on board...Let's call the company ABC and the url was ABC.com...Now they are launching a customer facing side of things that will have all the clients listed for consumers to book at their location...So an online marketplace...Like VRBO or AirBnB...They are taking the name of the software company and making it the url for the marketplace site...So now the marketplace is ABC.com and we need to figure out if we go with a new site for the software side or if we use subdomains or a subfolder.... Do we go with ABCSoftware.com - New root domain ABC.software.com - Subdomain ABC.com/software - Subfolder There are a few other intricacies with this...Not all the companies that use the software will be on the marketplace side...And people who book through the company but using the software have a url embedded on their site that books there directly...This booking costs the company less than a booking that comes through the marketplace so this needs to be kept separate... OSE not displaying data

Is anyone else having a problem with OSE not displaying any data except for domain and page authority?

OSE - advanced reports.

Trying to run advanced reports, but am being told I've hit my daily report limited - and points me to signing up for a Pro membership - although I already have one. Been like this the last couple of days. Anyone else experiencing this? Thanks.

Why is OSE showing no data for this URL?

Hi all, Does anyone have any ideas as to why OSE might not have any data for this URL: http://www.ccisolutions.com/StoreFront/product/shure-slx24-sm58-wireless-microphone-system-j3 It is not a new page at all. It's been on the site for years. Is OSE being quirky? Or is there an underlying problem with this page? Thanks in advance for any light you can shed on this, Dana

Why does the CSV report on OSE limit the number of links I can download to less than it should?

I run an inbound link report for the domain www.acornstairlifts.co.uk on OpenSiteExplorer.org using the following filters: Show: All Links from: only external Pages to: pages on this root domain Show links: ungrouped It says that there are around 30,678 links for that query. I then go to the advanced tab, and run a report using the same filters, but when I click download report I only get 2874. I've run this for the past 2 days and I get the same. Why?

What is the difference between the link count on OSE and Linkscape?

We notice a huge difference in the number of inbound links . Site explore shows 1,200 as an example and linkscape shows over 100,000 for the same site.

Historical Linkscape/OSE data available?

Hey Mozzerati, I'm curious if there's a way to expose and analyze historical data from each previous Linkscape/OpenSiteExplorer (OSE) update. Essentially, I'm looking for something similar to MajesticSEO's Backlink History tool that can show you both daily links over a short time as well as cumulative links over a long period. I think the utility of such a tool is to see which competitors have gained many links over a short period, signalling that they're engaging in some form of link-building/-buying/-baiting activity. Is there any way to yield this data (other than to record it manually after each Linkscape/OSE update) from SEOmoz PRO tools?
