Where is the SEOmoz search operator guide?
-
It was available on this URL: http://www.seomoz.org/article/the-professionals-guide-to-advanced-search-operators but I can't seem to find it anymore. Anyone know where it is?

Thanks Sean, that looks really useful, but I was hoping to find that specific guide - there was something I'm sure I read in it that I wanted to double check.

How to compete against search terms that use geo-modifiers?
I should start by saying we are new to SEO. We are introducing new “cycling tours” in new destinations and we are looking for a strategy to combat geo-modified keyword searches. When people search for “cycling tours” they will anchor their search with a geo-modifier such as “cycling tours France” or “cycling tours Italy”. Based in Australia we are keen to communicate to Australians searching for international cycling tours there are new Australian options that they may wish to consider. The geo-modifiers required to find our tours (“eyre peninsula” and “carnarvon gorge”) are currently not on the cycling communities radar. For example to find one of our new tours you need to use “cycling tours eyre peninsula” or “cycling tours carnarvon gorge”. Currently the only solution we have found to let people know about our new tours is by word of mouth. Is there an SEO solution?

What should I do after a failed request for validation (error with noindex, nofollow) in new Google Search Console?
Hi guys, We have the following situation: After an error message in new google search console for a large amount of pages with noindex, nofollow tag, a validation is requested before the problem is fixed. (it's incredibly stupid decision taken before asking the SEO team for advice) Google starts the validation, crawls 9 URLs and changes the status to "Failed". All other URLs are still in "pending" status. The problem has been fixed for more than 10 days, but apparently Google doesn't crawl the pages and none of the URLs is back in the index. We tried pinging several pages and html sitemaps, but there is no result. Do you think we should request for re-validation or wait more time? It there something more we could do to speed up the process?

Industry leader being outranked by small competitors in Google Search
Hi Guys, I am working on the SEO strategy of an adult e-commerce website and I don't understand how small competitors/websites with a poor domain authority, links profile and on-page optimisation are outranking us across the top high search volume search terms. We have already fixed several issues with the site including canonical tags, duplicate content, links profile, etc... I would be interested to get someone expert's opinion as we have been working on this over the last 12 months and haven't seen improvements. My email is "damien@bangonline.com.au". Thanks in advance!

Does Automated High Quality Content Look Like Low Quality to Search Engines?
I have 1,000+ pages that all have very similar writing, but different results.
Intermediate & Advanced SEO | | khi5
Example:
Nr of days on market
Average sales price
Median sales price
etc etc etc All the results are very different for each neighborhood. However, as per the above, the wording is similar. The content is very valuable to users. However, I am concerned search engines may see it as low quality content, as wording is identical across all these pages (except the results). Any view on this? Any examples to back up such views?0 -

Why is Google Displaying this image in the search results?
Hi i'm looking at advice on how to remove or change a particular image Google is displaying in the search results. I have attached a screenshot. From the first look of it, i assumed the image would be related and be on the dealers Google+ Local Page: https://plus.google.com/118099386834104087122/about?hl=en But there are no photos. The image seems to be coming from the website. Is there a way to stop Google from displaying this image or making them display a totally different image. Thanks, Chris XzfsnUy.png
