Why does SEO MOZ Pro scan your competitors keyword rankings?

I find the keyword rankings feature of SEOmoz Pro probably it's most useful feature. I was wondering why you can't see your listed competitors stats in comparison?

Hi Andrew! This is Megan from SEOmoz. You can get rankings for your competitors by adding your competitors information in the campaign settings section (which you can find under the PRO Dashboard). It looks like you do have this set up for 1 campaign, but the rankings haven't updated yet. I noticed that you've opened a ticket with us regarding your rankings not updating, so I'll make a note to also check on your competitors' rankings to make sure they update too.

I would assume it is because that is a lot more work for the system to do, but you can set your competitors sites up as separate campaigns and get the same information as you do for your sites.

Is there a tool that can rank multiple results for a single keyword?
Hi all, I have searched the web for a tool that can tell me if more than 1 landing page is ranking for a single keyword. I have noticed sometimes that a single keyword query can trigger up to 3 landing pages within the 1st SERP. I found an old bookmarklet from Lunametrics that might do the trick using Search Console data, but the link is no longer working. Any other pointers, or can Moz do this as well? Thanks!

Is the keyword ranking number used for MOZ Pro an average position taken across the time period?

I'm having a hard time understanding branded keywords. When wouldn't I want to brand a keyword?
For example, why wouldn't I want to brand all my keywords with my company name?

I need a tool/tools to extract keywords from say 50 sites in one niche and then check the rank tor those sites
This is for telemarketing of seo services I want to have some insight into an industry before I call them could this be done with the adwords keyword tool api and then exported to excel. It would also be nice to have data on backlinks say from seo moz opensite explorer.. Its just that the research you do before you even call a potential client is so time consuming and you can never really check to see how they are ranking for there main keywords manually. We are trying to automate as much of this initial research as possible... Any Idea's Thanks

Where in SEOMoz pro can I determine how many .edu and .gov links a competitor's site has?

Keywords in front of the title element and on page keyword optimization
After running one of my landing pages through the SEOmoz on-page keyword optimization tool, I see that my keywords are 13 characters from the front of the title. My page is already receiving an A letter grade. The 13 characters in front of my keyword phrase are not vital, but they related to the keyword phrase. Is it that important that I drop the related word, in order to get my keyword phrase to start at the front?
