I am trying to figure out why a website is not getting fully indexed by google. Any ideas?

I am trying to figure out why a website is not getting fully indexed by google. The website was built with Godaddy's website designer so maybe this is the problem. Originally, the internal links throughout the navigation were linked to “pages” within the site. I went in and changed all of these navigation links to point to the actual url links throughout the site instead of relative links pointing to pages on the server. I thought this would have solved the problem because I thought that perhaps google was not able to follow the original relative links. When I check to see how many pages are in the google index I still see the same #. What is going on? Should this website be rebuilt using more search engine friendly code like wordpress? Is there a simple fix that will enable google to find all of this content created by Godaddy design software?

That most probably because Google spider does not find many links to this page and allocates less time in crawling.
Also you XML sitemap is not complete.
Add all your webpages to the XML sitemap, submit you sitemap to Google using webmasters tools and using same tool fetch as google bot and resubmit your website and all linked pages to google again.

Weird Google indexing issues with www being forced
IM working on a site which is really not indexing as it should, I have created a sitemap.xml which I thought would fix the issue but it hasn't, what seems to be happening is the Google is making www pages canonical for some of the site and without www for the rest. the site should be without www. see images attached for a visual explanation.

when adding pages in Google search console without www some pages cannot be indexed as Google thinks the www version is canonical, and I have no idea why, there is no canonical set up at all, what I would do if I could is to add canonical tags to each page to pint to the non www version, but the CMA does not allow for canonical. not quite sure how to proceed, how to tell google that the non www version is in fact correct, I dont have any idea why its assuming www is canonical either??? k11cGAv zOuwMxv0 -
Home Pages of Several Websites are disappearing / reappearing in Google Index
Hi, I periodically use the Google site command to confirm that our client's websites are fully indexed. Over the past few months I have noticed a very strange phenomenon which is happening for a small subset of our client's websites... basically the home page keeps disappearing and reappearing in the Google index every few days. This is isolated to a few of our client's websites and I have also noticed that it is happening for some of our client's competitor's websites (over which we have absolutely no control). In the past I have been led to believe that the absence of the home page in the index could imply a penalty of some sort. This does not seem to be the case since these sites continue to rank the same in various Google searches regardless of whether or not the home page is listed in the index. Below are some examples of sites of our clients where the home page is currently not indexed - although they may be indexed by the time you read this and try it yourself. Note that most of our clients are in Canada. My questions are: 1. has anyone else experienced/noticed this? 2. any thoughts on whether this could imply some sort of penalty? or could it just be a bug in Google? 3. does Google offer a way to report stuff like this? Note that we have been building websites for over 10 years so we have long been aware of issues like www vs. non-www, canonicalization, and meta content="noindex" (been there done that in 2005). I could be wrong but I do not believe that the site would keep disappearing and reappearing if something like this was the issue. Google Indexing Desktop & Mobile Versions
We have a relatively new site and I have noticed recently that Google seems to be indexing both the mobile and the desktop version of our site. There are some queries where the mobile version will show up and sometimes both mobile and desktop show up. This can't be good. I would imagine that what is supposed to happen is that the desktop version is the one that should be indexed (always) and browser detection will load the mobile version where appropriate once the user is on the site. Do you have any advice on what we should do to solve this problem as we are a bit stuck?

How to remove the specific link from Google Listed Index?
I am working on SEO for an e-commerce client. When I search for brand name in the Google it displays the top link with tabular index of categories. Whereas I want to remove the category called Coffee from the tabular index because it redirecting to the Home page which is not relevant. For your ref. attached is the screenshot. pXjdaCH.png

#1 on Bing, nowhere on Google. Should be at least top 3\. Any ideas?
I have a page that "should" be top 3 on Google - it's optimised (A on the Moz Pro page grader), it's the most relevant result (it's for an e-book, and the page is the publisher's page for the e-book). Other pages on the site for other books are top of the Google SERPs, and this page itself is top in Bing for the search phrase. The page is https://camphorpress.com/books/formosan-odyssey/ and the keyphrase I want to rank for is "formosan odyssey" (with or without the quotes). Does anyone have any insight as to why it's not ranking in Google? Over-optimised? Duplicate content? Many thanks.

Google Still Taking 2 - 3 Days to Index New Posts
My website is fairly new, it was launched about 3.5 months ago. I've been publishing new content daily (except on weekends) since then. Is there any reason why new posts don't get indexed faster? All of my posts gets +1's and they're shared on G+, FB and Twitter. My website's at www.webhostinghero.com

Is Google caching date same as crawling/indexing date?
If a site is cached on say 9 oct 2012 doesn't that also mean that Google crawled it on same date ? And indexed it on same date?

How to attach at text to image that other websites use from my website
I often have other websites link to my website. They will do this with an image that they pull off of my website. (actually my website continues to serve the image). These inbound links are great, but they don't have alt text. Is there a way for me to attach alt text to the images, or is this something the other website needs to code themselves?
