What's the difference between broad and exact match in Google's keyword research tool?
-
The exact match option shows you much smaller numbers. And Google's explanation of each isn't comprehensive. Can someone explain the difference between the two with examples? Also, which one is it better to target while doing SEO research?
-
Thanks. Can you give examples of a specific keyword and what could its broad matches be? Also: what is the relation between ranking well for a specific keyword and the resulting ranking for the related broad terms?
-
Hi,
Exact match is best to base decisions for SEO and PPC. Broad Match records any search string which features the keyword/s you're interested in, plus any other words. These other words could be irrelevant to your search. Exact is where only the keywords you're interested in have been entered. Also pay attention to the region and language settings.

Hi guys! Is there a tool (other than SEMRush) that can show you which keywords are ranking for Google Knowledge Graph? Thanks :)
I've also seen that you can get some data about this in Search Metrics but can't see where? Thanks for your help!

Keywords with different spelling depending on country.
Hello, My product sells in both USA and UK, childrens sleepwear. I am not quite sure whether my onsite optimisation should be for "pajamas" or "pyjamas", or do I need both terms? Can someone please advise the best option? Thanks Astrid

How to work my keywords - should I use exact, broad and phrase match in the same adgroup?
I'm looking at my adwords, and am looking to strengthen them, improve quality score by making the wording more appropriate, and ensuring they link to a more relevant page rather than just my home page. In an AdGroup should I be using all three (broad, exact and phrase) or does this just confuse Google. What are the advantages/disadvantages? When I was doing the keyword research, for some of my phrases, there was little difference in price (sometimes as low as a 3p difference) between a broad match (with large potential numbers) and an exact match (with a tiny target group) so it would seem best that I target the broad match - make sense?

Ways to research/brainstorm keywords for a unique non-profit?
We're looking for ways to drive traffic to our site through targeted keywords, but because our non-profit is unique (micro-loans for students in developing countries) it is unlikely that people will be using such a keyword. We're looking for other keywords to target searchers who might be interested in giving micro-loans for students or at least are interested in microfinance in general. Eventually we do want to win for keywords like "microfinance" but these are a little competitive for us right now. Any suggestions/ideas? NOTE: We're running a blogging contest soon which should be a great opportunity for links with specific anchor text.

Google Webmaster Keyword Significance.
In my google webmaster tools the most significant keyword google attaches to my site is word 'VAT' as in, Value Added Tax. Followed by Basket. I can see why this is, as the word VAT and Basket is on every product page, but it really is not a keyword I want to target. Does this have any negative effect on other keywords I am targeting? What should I do about this? Here is the site: https://www.loveelectronics.co.uk

Missing Tool!!
What SEOMOZ tool or other resource should I use to find a list of Google's most popular keyword searches. The "Keyword Difficulty" tool will allow me to check out information about a particular Keyword. For example if I want to check out the top 1000 most popular Keyword Searches in the .co.uk area, irregardless of industry. Thanks Peter
