Finding page ranking when over 50-100+
-
How can I find my page ranking (what position i land on in google etc. for a certain keyword) when seomoz and other programs ive tried simply say "50+" or "100+" without giving me the actual number?
-
I understand that it really makes minimal difference whether im on page 15 or 25 of google search, and that either one is virtually traffic-less - however, if i was able to track my position (over 100+), i would at least be able to see if my rank/position was improving or not. Because thats a pretty important thing to know..
Does anybody else know of any tools that let you search your website position on search engines that give you results over 100+ ? It would be a very valuable thing for me to know.. Because ive been trying incredibly hard to increase my position.
Also, thank you for your pointers about my website. I will try to change the pages a little bit, although they are pretty straight-forward for the most part except for the difference between bulb numbers for my product. They all "look" the same technically, so its hard to make each page individually different. But ill try.
Other than that, what else can i try that will increase my traffic? Ive been considering using Attracta's TurboTraffic.. They submit to the top 100 search engines and re-submit your sitemap on a regular basis, as well as create blogs dedicated to your site and create valuable backlinks, etc.. It all sounds really good, but not sure if its worth it or not. What "seo improvement websites" would you guys recommend?
Sorry for all the questions, i tried to separate them by paragraph. Please try to answer all of them if you can!

My first guess is that Google thinks you have a ton of identical pages. When I look at three random pages for your products, they appear identical to me except for the name of the kit and the URL. Everything else -- title tag, all content, page layout, etc. looks exactly the same. The search engines really want valuable and unique content, and are going to have a hard time seeing the value in these pages.
When I put the text description of the 6000k light into Google, I find other sites with the exact same description. Again, the search engines are likely not finding anything here that they don't see on other sites.

All ive been able to find is the top 100, but im not in it.
I just wish i understood why im not even in the top 100! Ive been doing tons of SEO research (hence why im on this site) and doing everything i can to improve my ranking, but im still not in the top 100..
My website is www.SmartHid.com and some of the keywords would be "hid", "hid kits", "hid headlights", "xenon lights", and "xenon headlights", among others. But none of these show me in the top 100, and i just wish i knew what i needed to do in order to improve my ranking.
I suppose this is why i want to know my actual ranking (even if its above 100), so i can tell weather or not its improving, even if its high.. But i have no way of knowing since im not in the top 100..
Can anyone please take a look at my website, and feel free to check my sourcecode if you want, or use some SEO tools on my website, and give me your opinion on what i can do to improve my ranking and break into the top 100?

Agree - RankTracker from Link Assistant (SEO Spyglass people) will let you do "top 100" but really, if you're 86 or 66, who cares? A client might but not a client with a clue. Page 7 and page 9 are both virtually traffic-worthless.
You can also try http://whatpageofsearchamion.com/ for individual keywords - it's not a rank tracking solution like RankTracker is, but it helps with 1-offs.

Part of the reason you're having a difficult time finding those numbers is that it's usually not worth it for the companies doing the rank checking to go that far. With people not going past the first page or two of results, it's not too much a difference if you're ranking on page 11 or page 16 -- the traffic's just not going to be there either way for that keyword.

Try RankChecker by SEO Book. I'm not sure how far back it goes, but it's more than 100 results.

Filter Pages
Howdy Moz Forum!! I have a headache of a job over here in the UK and I'd welcome any advice! - It's sunny today, only 1 of 5 days in a year and i'm stuck on this! I have a client that currently has 22,000 pages indexed to Google with almost 4000 showing as duplicate content. The site has a "jobs" and "candidates" list. This can cause all sorts of variations such as job title, language, location etc. The filter pages all seem to be indexed. Plus the static pages are indexed. For example if there were 100 jobs at Moz being advertised, it is displaying the jobs on the following URL structure - /moz
Moz Pro | | Slumberjac
/moz/moz-jobs
/moz/moz-jobs/page/2
/moz/moz-jobs/page/3
/moz/moz-jobs/page/4
/moz/moz-jobs/page/5 ETC ETC Imagine this with some going up to page/250 I have checked GA data and can see that although there are tons of pages indexed this way, non of them past the "/moz/moz-jobs" URL get any sort of organic traffic. So, my first question! - Should I use rel-canonical tags on all the /page/2 & /page/3 etc results and point them all at the /moz/moz-jobs parent page?? The reason for this is these pages have the same title and content and fall very close to "duplicate" content even though it does pull in different jobs... I hope i'm making sense? There is also a lot of pages indexed in a way such as- https://www.examplesite.co.uk/moz-jobs/search/page/9/?candidate_search_type=seo-consulant&candidate_search_language=blank-language These are filter pages... and as far as I'm concerned shouldn't really be indexed? Second question! - Should I "no follow" everything after /page in this instance? To keep things tidy? I don't want all the variations indexed! Any help or general thoughts would be much appreciated! Tool recommendation for Page Depth?
I'd like to crawl our ecommerce site to see how deep (clicks from home page) pages are. I want to verify that every category, sub-category, and product detail page is within three clicks of the home page for googlebot. Suggestions? Thanks!

All ranked pages on Googles SERP only links to home
I got a problem regarding my website called musik.dk, and hope you guys are able to help. I just got my first ranking results from Moz. My question is: All my keywords are linking to the home page, and not the artist page? For examples if I were to search on Rihanna on Google, then when musik.dk appears on the SERP, it only links to the home, and not musik.dk/rihanna.. This problem applies to all the given artists ranked on Googles SERP, it never shows the artist page itself, only links to home. Let me know if you need any information, and I gladly supply, this is kind of frustrating to me.. As a note: all pages besides the home has a PA of 1, and it doesn't really seem to change. Search Volume in Keyword Rankings Page
Is there a way to show search volumes for keywords in the Keyword Rankings tab page? A lot of times keywords we are ranking for are added to our campaign, and it would be very useful to see the search volumes within that grid. That way we could sort by the search volume and determine which keywords are worth targeting and optimizing for. I've had this ability with other software in the past and would be a great option for either Moz Pro version or the new Beta that is coming out. Which I'm still waiting for my invite BTW:)

Comparing Rankings Performance by Date
I would like to demonstrate to our clients how the Search Engine Rankings have improved or declined based on a date range i.e. this month vs last month and this month vs the same month last year. I could do a keyword ranking history export and create a chart in Excel from that information, however does anyone have any suggestions as to how this can be done more dynamically/automatically? Are there any API options or even a way to schedule the export of the historical data on a monthly basis? Any suggestions would be most welcome! Thanks Steve

Erroneous "Weekly Keyword Ranking & On-page Optimization Report" For Campaign
Hi, I just received an email alert from Seomoz telling me my "Weekly Keyword Ranking & On-page Optimization Report " for the period 11/06/12 - 11/13/12 is ready. It is just a copy of the previous report though, all rankings and ranking changes are the same. What is up with that? Best regards, Martin

On Page Analysis and Grading
I am new here and happy to be! My site is an ecommerce site with hundreds of products. I have set up campaigns to track specific products. For the on page analysis where SEOMOZ gives you a grade I have 2 urls showing. But 1 of the urls is getting an A, and 1 is getting a F. But they are the same url and obviously go to the same page. Any help would be appreciated!
