Concerned About Individual Pages
-
Okay. I've setup a campaign for www.site.com and given a list of keywords. So after the initial crawl we'll have some results.
What I'm looking for tho is how do individual pages on my site rank for the list of keywords given. And then be able to go to a screen in seomoz with data for that particular page with recommendations and stuff like that.
Is this what's going to happen or do I need to create a campaign for each url i want to track?
If all will work as I'd like in the example above, should I then add the second list of keywords that some other pages should rank for?
Will it get to be a big mess or can I relate the keywords to pages in some way?
It seems like what I'm looking for is what this program should be...
Thanks!

Hi Dana,
Without knowing anything about the site or the keywords, I would deduce that the url_1 page has best link profile from external sources for KW1...
You will be able to see this by running the three URL's through open site explorer. This will help you understand your offsite optimisation.
I would imagine the url_1 has more links than the other two AND/OR the sources of these links are more relevant (or sites with higher Page / Domain Authority) AND the ratio of keywords in the anchor text vs generic anchor text is better (would aim for 1 keyword back link to 3-4 generics).
At the end of the day, the reason SEO is such a busy and exciting industry is that there are many signals that help a page rank. If there was an exact answer to your question the industry wouldn't exist.
Hope this helps,
Dan

I have plugged a few KW's into the tool with a specific url. most give me a D which is kind of what I figured.
So I wanted to check something out and here are my results:
site.com/url_1 KW1 = Grade D & Google rank is page1 pos7
site.com/url_2 KW1 = Grade A & Google rank is nonexistant
site.com/ KW1 = Grade A & Google rank is page2 pos6
These pages have all been alive for about 6 years and Meta stuff never changed page content has slightly over time.
Please help me understand why SEOMOZ Results != Google Results
Thank You

For the on page optimization tool it is one keyword per page.
-
one keyword at a time or is there a way to use the research tools -> on page op tool for a list of keywords?
-
You are running a report on your domain not individual pages. Your report will produce a report of errors on all pages, but the basis of the campaign is your domain. If you want to run individual page report on how optimized each page is use the:
research tools -> On-Page Optimization tool
insert the directed keyword and the page you are trying to optimize.

Why am I ranking high for a keyword that is nowhere on my page?
There is a specific keyword phrase that I am ranking in the top 10 search results for. When I run page optimizer in Moz, my page is given a score of 73 and I'm predictably told I need to include this keyword somewhere on the page. This specific keyword phrase is not included anywhere on the page - not in image files, image alts, anchor text from inbound links (that I can find), text content, meta-titles or descriptions - it's nowhere. Meanwhile, a keyword phrase which Moz' page optimizer tells us we are scored 96 for we aren't even in the first three pages of search results for. What's going on here? On the surface, this seems to be telling me the Moz page optimizer is kinda...broken? Why am I ranking in the top 10 for a keyword phrase nowhere on my page? Thanks in advance for any help.

Why does one page rank while a similar page doesn't?
We have a blog post (actually several of them that have the same SEO characteristics) that brings a fair amount of traffic to our site (relatively speaking), and according to Google Webmaster Tools it averages in the top 10 in SERPs for various terms. This page has no external links to it, and very few internal links pointing to it. When I run Moz's On-Page Grader for the various keywords it ranks for, the page get's an F on all of them. It was not optimized for any keyword, and it isn't our best content; it was a blog post written a few years ago and forgotten about and was never promoted in any way. The topic does happen to be about something that people search for frequently. According to the keyword difficulty tool, all of the keywords it ranks for have 40-45% difficulty. We have lots of other pages on our site that we have tried to optimize and that get A's and B's in On-Page Grader, that have both internal (from the home page and main menu) and external links pointing at them, etc, but they don't rank well at all. Keyword difficulty for these keywords is in the same range, from 37 - 53%. Why does this one page rank so well when the other pages don't? Additionally, we have been looking at a competitor who has a page that ranks #1 in universal results for numerous keywords according to SEMRush, yet the page gets an F On-page Grader for those keywords. The page has 3 links to it, all from the same domain and it has a very low domain and page authority. The Domain Authority of this page is 47 and the page authority is 33 according to Open Site Explorer (compared with our DA of 30, and PA of 1), and the social metrics are a bit higher than ours, but neither has a lot (they may have 15 likes to our 10). Why does this page rank so well for them? How can we get our Page Authority higher? Thanks for any and all help.

Page Ranking by URL / Keyword
Needing to know how to find out the page rank of a URL that is NOT within the top 50 or top 100. Need to know that specific page's rank, not what our overall site's ranking for the keyword is. Can't seem to find any tool that goes beyond the top 100. Any ideas?

Keyword Stuffing - MOZ On-Page Grader
We sell a great number of insulation products, many of which are produced by individual manufacturers. On the page identified below the Keyword "Kingspan" is repeated numerous times as these items are included in our online shop. However, the many mentions of Kingspan are recorded in the HTML5 Source Code, rather than an external database. When I used the MOZ On-Page Grader, using the keywords "Kingspan" I was surprised to achieve an "A" Grade! I know I shouldn't be complaining, but I am wondering why the significant repetition of the word "Kingspan" has not negatively impacted my score? http://www.just-insulation.com/001-eshop/buy-kingspan-thermapitch-thermawall-thermafloor-insulation-boards.html

Why are not nofollowed links counted in On-Page Analysis Report?
When I run the On-Page Analysis on our homepage, the report says the page has 238 **"Internal followed links". ** Why are not nofollowed internal links counted as well? Nofollowed links have been leaking link juice for quite some time now. Martin

Amount of Pages Crawled Dropped Significantly
I am just wondering if something changed with the SEOMoz crawler. I was always getting 10,000 or near 10,000 pages crawled. After the last two crawls I am ending up around 2500 pages. Has anything changed that I would need to look at it see if I am blocking the crawler or something else?

Different Moz Scores Between Page and Subdomain
The Moz scores for a page-specific website:: www.website.com are different than the subdomain: www.website.com/. www.website.com: Page MozRank: 4.58
Moz Pro | | DanSpeicher
Page MozTrust: 4.9 www.website.com/ Subdomain MozRank: 5.21
Subdomain MozTrust 5.18 Does that have any significance? Should I be routing pages to the " / " version? Thanks, Daniel0
