Why my site is not indexing in google
-
In google webmaster i have updated my sitemap in Mar 6th..There is around 22000 links..But google fetched only 5300 links for long time...
I waited for 1 month till no improvement in google index..So apr6th we have uploaded new sitemap (1200 links totally)..,But only 4 links indexed in google ..
why google not indexing my urls? Is this affect our ranking in SERP?How many links are advisable to submit in sitemap for a website?

Our site content are unique ...Today i checked GW now 750 links got indexed out of 1300 links..I Couldnt understand the google crawl time & concept..We have waited for 1 month..it crawled only 5300 out of 22000 links....and got 404 error -469 & Not found - 57 errors, day by day the errors getting increase ..after that we redesigned our site model(user friendly) & changed few internal links and created new sitemap & resubmitted in GW last saturday ..Next day it crawled 4 links only ...after 5 days it crawled (today) 750 links..
The error links are changed in new sitemap ..so when will google crawl links completely & clear all errors..

Hate to say it, but it's not uncommon for pages to not be indexed because they contain thin content.
Take a look at the pages that have been indexed; I'm willing to be that they are a little more fleshed out and rich than those that have not been.
If a given page has only a sentence or two of weak or repetitive content, then it's likely that Google saw it in your sitemap and simply did not think it worthy of indexation.
Also, make sure to test your sitemap and check up on any errors that might have cropped up, that's happened to me quite a few times.

1200 is a small amount of 22000 of which 5300 were indexed. its possible that your new 1200 sitemap has links to almost anything but those which are already indexed. As chris has said a sitemap is a suggestion, on big sites google tends to do what it wants to get the data it need.

Rajesh,
It's not the size of your sitemap because Maximum number of URL on a sitemap is 50,000. Keep in mind, however, that your sitemap is really just a suggestion tool. Just because your sitemap contains a URL, doesn't mean Google will crawl it. The site's architecture and its back links have impact its crawl priority.

Not all images indexed in Google
Hi all, Recently, got an unusual issue with images in Google index. We have more than 1,500 images in our sitemap, but according to Search Console only 273 of those are indexed. If I check Google image search directly, I find more images in index, but still not all of them. For example this post has 28 images and only 17 are indexed in Google image. This is happening to other posts as well. Checked all possible reasons (missing alt, image as background, file size, fetch and render in Search Console), but none of these are relevant in our case. So, everything looks fine, but not all images are in index. Any ideas on this issue? Your feedback is much appreciated, thanks

Google Not Indexing Submitted Images
Hi Guys! My question isn't too dissimilar to one asked a couple of years ago, regarding Google and image indexing, but having put my web address into a Google image search, I get a return of 15 images, so something isn't right. 5 months ago I submitted our 'new' site to Google webmaster. We have just moved it onto a Shopify platform. They (Shopify) are good at providing places to add titles and Alt tags and likewise we fill them in (so that box ticked!) However I have noticed over the last couple of months that despite 161 images being submitted, only 51 have been indexed. Furthermore and as I said earlier, when you put our site, site:http://www.hartnackandco.com into Google images, it only returns a total of 15 images. Any suggestions and help would be wonderful! Cheers Nick

Inner pages of a directory site wont index
I have a business directory site thats been around a long time but has always been split into two parts, a subdomain and the main domain. The subdomain has been used for listings for years but just recently Ive opened up the main domain and started adding listings there. The problem is that none of the listing pages seem to be betting indexed in Google. The main domain is indexed as is the category page and all its pages below that eg /category/travel but the actual business listing pages below that will not index. I can however get them to index if I request Google to crawl them in search console. A few other things: I have nothing blocked in the robots.txt file The site has a DA over 50 and a decent amount of backlinks There is a sitemap setup also any ideas?

Page missing from Google index
Hi all, One of our most important pages seems to be missing from the Google index. A number of our collections pages (e.g., http://perfectlinens.com/collections/size-king) are thin, so we've included a canonical reference in all of them to the main collection page (http://perfectlinens.com/collections/all). However, I don't see the main collection page in any Google search result. When I search using "info:http://perfectlinens.com/collections/all", the page displayed is our homepage. Why is this happening? The main collection page has a rel=canonical reference to itself (auto-generated by Shopify so I can't control that). Thanks! WUKeBVB

Google site: operator showing only 30 results for whatever website you may like, omitting the rest
site:wikipedia.org site:seomoz.org site:nytimes.com site:WHATEVER YOU PUT HERE 🙂 is currently always showing just 3 SERP pages and the well known ugly message: In order to show you the most relevant results, we have omitted some entries very similar to the 30 already displayed.

If you like, you can repeat the search with the omitted results included. Any idea what's going on?!!? Ongoing update?0 -

Why Google did not index our domain?
Hi, We launched tmart 60 days ago and submitted to google, bing, yahoo 20 days later. But google had never indexed our website still when yahoo indexed it in one week. What we have checked or tried: 1. We got 20~50 inlinks in one month and now 81 inlinks via yahoo site explorer. 2. This domain has registered for 13 years and we purchased it from sedo last year. We

did not find any problems from domain archive pages. 3. Page similar: the homepage is 50% similar to one of our competitors when we just launched.
So we adjusted the page structure and modified the content one month later and decreased the similarity to 30% (by tools from webconfs.com) 4. Google Robots: googlebot crawled our website every day after we submitted for indexing.
We opened GWT account for it and added the xml sitemap last week. GWT said nothing
was wrong except the time of page loading. Our questions: Why google did not indexed our website? What should we do? Thanks, wu0
