Inurl:login.aspx + "register" "retrieve password" + intext:employment
-
Someone came to my website with this keyword a few times, I was just wondering if anyone knows what that is?
inurl:login.aspx + "register" "retrieve password" + intext:employment
-
They are looking for pages that contain the terms "login.aspx", "register" and "retrieve password" in the URL structure (inurl command) and the term "employment" in the body of the page (intext: command).
You can find more about Google's search operators here: http://www.googleguide.com/advanced_operators.html
In this case it seems they are looking to access an ASP.NET source file, it could be that they are searching for a web to hack..

"Not enough data for selected time period" - Google My Business Insights
Hello All, Has anyone come across the following message "Not enough data for selected time period" when they choose a time frame in Google My Business (GMB) for one week. It seems to be consistent with "Customer Actions" and "Where Customers View Your Business on Google sections. I'm confused because I am pulling in a minimum of 500 searches a week according to the "How customers search for your business" section. I can scroll over top of each day in these areas and manually write down the results, but what's the point of offering a 'one week" insight if it won't calculate for you. If anyone has had the same issue or knows what's going on, please let me know. Thanks!

Search Console "Not found" errors
The Google Search Console is showing recent "Not found" errors for pages that haven't been on my site for years. The pages are not in my sitemap and there don't appear to be any internal links to the pages. Is this normal? Should I be concerned? (Google Search Console > Crawl > Crawl Errors > URL Errors)

Webmaster Tools Suddenly Asking For Verification of Site Registered for 5 Years
Google Webmaster Tools has been successfully installed on my website, (www.nyc-officespace-leader.com) for more than five years. Suddenly, today I have received a request to Verify this Site". This makes no sense. The only possibility I can think of is that this is somehow tied to the following events in the last month: 1. Launch of new version of website on June 4th

2. Installation of Google of Tag Manager
3. Sudden Increase in number of pages indexed by Google. Unexplained indexing of an additional 175 pages. About 625 pages should be indexed, while 800 are now indexed. In the last month ranking and traffic have fallen sharply. Could it be tat these issues are all linked? But the strangest issue is the request to verify the site. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks,

Sudden dramatic drop in "some but not all" keyphrase rankings for client, 3 weeks ago
I noticed recently that 4 of my keyphrases which ranked on page one, and were climbing 3 weeks ago, have suddenly dropped to > 50. What could have happened? I did find an issue with my sitemap (yoast generated), but why would that suddenly change? And even more importantly, how do I fix it?

Google Analytics VS target="_blank" internal links: How much wrong is it?
I am working on an e-commerce website, and our CEO is sure that having target="_blank" in internal search result is boosting the conversion (not sure, but it's not an issue at the moment). The problem is that Google Analytics sees all URLs visited from search results as entrances/direct visits, hence the Booking Funnel Tracking does not work as it was supposed to. Is there any way to recover the tracking? Or we shall get the rid of target="_blank" attribute?

Large recent drop in "Domain Authority" and backlinks through OSE
Hello, I've noticed that our sites domain authority has dropped enormously this past week according to Open Site Explorer. It also shows us as having lost about half of our backlinks. Google webmaster tools doesn't show a corresponding drop in links and we haven't done anything to our domain recently. Anyone have any ideas what might have happened? Our site is at: http://www.GoldMaxUSA.com Thanks!

Should we "no-follow" archives or categories?
I'm reading some reports from my first crawl of 10K pages and I'm wondering if it's wise to mark the archives "no-follow." I have a WP tool that provides a tool that offers the no follow for categories or archives recommending to choose either one or the other but not both. What would be the best solution?
