Why is The Keyword Difficulty Tool so unreliable?
Anyone know of another PAID Keyword Difficulty Tool?
Right now I feel like I am getting ripped off for $99 a month for a tool that I have no confidence in...PLEASE HELP ANYONE

What do you feel the tool should do that it's not doing for you?
One of the hardest things about keyword research is building a comfort level with the tools at your disposal. Since none of them measure things in the same way, comfort tends to come from experience with them over time and even then, there can be more than a little grey area when it comes to choosing one term over another.
I can tell you that if you're here for the keyword difficulty tool only, you may not be getting your money's worth out of your subscription. It is a tool that you want to use in combination with other tools--many of which are also available here.
Relax, take a look around, try some stuff out, do some searches in the Q&A and round out your knowledge a little. You might find those things will help you just as much with your keyword research as the tool will.

How do you mean unreliable? Do you mean it's down or do you mean it is not accurate?

I am not sure how you are finding in unreliable... as far as the information and results are concern I find it very accurate but yes sometimes it goes down due to over usage of the pro users but i guess in that case you should contact to SEOmoz customer service team.

Link Assistant SEO Tool - Any Others?
I have the most boring copier service website, clients cool, concept is really boring; Well I am looking to generate this client some link back juice, cause this guy is struggling for traffic, and I am am struggling to generate a buzz about copier services?? I was considering buying it. But once I go to purchase it, I second guess myself; "It just looks shady, and the perpetual up-sale, turns me off.". Seomoz research tools question for inbound links
What is the best seomoz tool and or indicator within a tool for checking on a link (directory or article site) to evaluate whether or not you would actaully want a link from them? Any way to see if google penalizes them for there tactics or if that can hurt me by them linking to me or whatever? I am at the beginning of a link building mission, but want to ensure that I do it methodically and correctly as possible based on the combines wisdom of this community. Thanks for your help, Steven

Crawl test tool from SEOmoz - which URLs does it actually crawl?
I am using for the first time the crawl test tool from SEOmoz and I do not really understand which URLs the tool is going to crawl. First, it says "enter any subdomain" --> why can´t I do the crawl for the root domain? Second it says "we'll crawl up to 3,000 linked-to pages" --> does that mean that the tool crawls all internal links that it can find on the given domain? Thanks for your help!

Report: keyword difficulty verses SERPS ranking
Hi there, I've been using the PRO tools for a few months now, and find them great for revealing information for my clients, and planning our SEO approach. One report I've put together has been really helpful for a client, but I built it manually and it took ages. It lists, in a spreadsheet, keywords side-by-side with keyword difficulty, target URL, and SERPs result. Sorting by keyword difficulty or SERPS position has helped us to prioritise which pages to hit first. It is still in the lab despite no updates for over 6 months. Is it being retired? Or promoted to production? If you do use the tool, what % of relevance is your goal when optimizing pages?

Convince me to stay! How should I best use SEOMoz tools.
Hey folks. I'm here on a free trial and I'm really loving the Q&A forum. I've learned a lot in the last couple of days. I've been playing around with the SEOMoz tools and campaigns and I'm trying to decide if it will be worth it for me to pay the monthly fee to continue with these once my trial is up. I direct two main websites. One is an informational site and the other is a real estate site. I've started a campaign for each and so far we're still waiting for a crawl. (I'm assuming that will happen on Sunday). I've played around with some of the tools. They keyword difficulty tool is cool but I can't see me using it a whole lot. The rest is just a little overwhelming...I'm not sure where to start. So what should I be checking out next? Have at 'er and convince me to stay!
