Duplicate titles reported with canonical

Hi Mozzers,

In the reports it is saying that I have some duplicate content and titles even though there is a canonical tag on them, is anyone else getting this?

Hi Karl,

A similar question was asked the other day on this chain, and the SEOMoz staff left a very helpfull answer. I'd suggest having a look through this to see if you can fiqure out your specific case.

Duplicate content nightmare

Hey Moz Community I ran a crawl test, and there is a lot of duplicate content but I cannot work out why. It seems that when I publish a post secondary urls are being created depending on some tags and categories. Or at least, that is what it looks like. I don't know why this is happening, nor do I know if I need to do anything about it. Help? Please.

Duplicate Content errors - not going away with canonical

I am getting Duplicate Content Errors reported by Moz on search result pages due to parameters. I went through the document on resolving Duplicate Content errors and implemented the canonical solution to resolve it. The canonical in the header has been in place for a few weeks now and Moz is still showing the pages as Duplicate Content despite the canonical reference. Duplicate Page Titles & Content

We have just launched a new version of a website and after running it through SEOMOZ we have over 6000 duplicate title & content errors. (awesome) 😕 We have products that show up multiple times under different URLs however we "thought" we had implemented the rel=canonical correctly. My question is - do these errors still show up in SEOMOZ despite the canonical tags being there OR if they were "correct" would we be getting "zero" errors?

SEOmoz duplicate content checker

From my reports in seomoz i can see pages that are showing as having duplicate content but when i click on them it does not show me which pages are carrying the duplicate content? Is there any way to check this via semoz reports?

How to read Crawler downloaded report

I am trying to seperate the duplicate title and description URLs, by looking at the report i am not getting how to find all urls which contain same title and description. Is there any video link on the site which walk me through each part of the report. Thanks, Punam

Report: keyword difficulty verses SERPS ranking

Hi there, I've been using the PRO tools for a few months now, and find them great for revealing information for my clients, and planning our SEO approach. One report I've put together has been really helpful for a client, but I built it manually and it took ages. It lists, in a spreadsheet, keywords side-by-side with keyword difficulty, target URL, and SERPs result. Sorting by keyword difficulty or SERPS position has helped us to prioritise which pages to hit first. What the . . ! Duplicate Pages and Titles WAY up?

My duplicate pages went up 50 plus in the past week, and my duplicate page titles went over more then 100. We recently redesigned the website, but it has been up for several weeks now. The only change I made specifically last week or late the week before was to get my 301 redirects done to get the www. version and the non www version pointing to the same place (as well as a couple other sites that point to it). I'm sure this is not enough info to figure out what went wrong . . . I'd love some help in figuring this out though.
