No follow links also been reported in SEOmoz crawl diagnostics
-
Hi,
Why does SEOmoz reports links which has been marked as 'nofollow'.
I am getting 'Overly-Dynamic URL' reports on links which I have designated as nofollow which means Google will discount them.
So why does SEOmoz still report them.
Thanks.

Thanks for the clarity. Will approach accordingly.

a no-follow tag just means that the link won't pass any link juice, if you don't want Google/SEOmoz to crawl then you'll have to no-index the pages or disallow the URL's in Webmaster Tools
-
SEOmoz's bot does not take instruction from No-follow, it crawls your whole site, unless you use robots.txt
Also I think its bad practice to No-follow internally, better to use no index on the page, if you don't want it in the serps.

Moz Crawl Report more urls?
Hi. I have used Moz Crawl Test and get my 3,000 urls crawled no issue. However, my site has more than that, is it possible to crawl the entire website? Alot of the crawl urls in the Moz test are search string urls and filters so Ive probably wasted about 2,500 urls on filter urls. Any advise or alternative software that wont cost a fortune?

Campaign Crawl
I have a site with 8036 pages in my sitemap index. But the MozBot only Crawled 2169 pages. It's been several months and each week it crawls roughly the same number of pages. Any idea why I'm not getting fully crawled?

Crawl Diagnostics returning duplicate content based on session id
I'm just starting to dig into crawl diagnostics and it is returning quite a few errors. Primarily, the crawl is indicating duplicate content (page titles, meta tags, etc), because of a session id in the URL. I have set-up a URL parameter in Google Webmaster Tools to help Google recognize the existence of this session id. Is there any way to tell the SEOMoz spider the same thing? I'd like to get rid of these errors since I've already handled them for the most part.

SEOMOZ Crawl Test
Guys I really have an issue that i know have but cannot see if that makes sense. Basically 3 months ago i did a site wide 301 from economyleasinguk.co.uk to www.economy-car-leasing.co.uk Every thing looks good get all the correct header responses , all canonicals work perfectly , Google webmaster tools is updated fetch as google bot shows the old site is 301 I tried the seomoz crawl test today on the old domain and got this message Oh no! Looks like the page you were trying to access is temporarily down which at first thought ok because the site was not there it wont do it on an old 301 domain, however i tried it on a domain i know has just been 301'd and i got this message The URL http://www.site1.com/ redirects to http://site2.com/. Do you want to crawl http://site2.com/ instead?

Would you like to:
Continue with www.site1.com
Continue with site2.com I really do not know what to do, its either the redirect script is missing something however its doing what it should or the server is a problem but again its doing what it should so why would SEOMOZ not be able to crawl the old URL like it example site above. Now the strange thing is Open Site Explorer does see the 301 and asks if i want to check the new URL instead Ps the redirect is done using PHP redirect which i am asking him to change to a htaccess as its now on a apache server and was wondering if this could be an issue, all pages go to correct pages as requested Thanks in Advance1 -
How does SEOMoz crawl sites? Does it follow the sitemap?
I only ask because in my report it returned a few "no follow" links. Was wondering how SEOMoz operates.

After fixing errors can I re-crawl for diagnostics?
As I am fixing errors will the campaign automatically update to show where I have fixed issues?
