Can no longer access my google + profile

A marketing firm set up my google + profile for my company a year ago. They no longer have the access to the account, and i need to either shut it down, or be able to access it and make some changes.

Does anyone know how to delete a google + business profile or gain access to it somehow.

Any help would be appreciated,

Hi Jesus,

Business profiles are owned by G+ accounts, you will either need to access the account that controls the page or have that person (that owns the account) removing it or changing the owner.

If none of those options are possible, then you will need to move on and create a new page.

I've noticed that Google Plus seems to have a larger influence on ranking than other social networks, especially for one of our competitors. We haven't started using Google Plus, and I'm wondering if, from an SEO standpoint, it's worth putting energy into after last month's changes. Authorship without Google+ - Ideas and strategies

Hi everyone, I am currently coaching several companies on Content Marketing, Authorship etc and how to implement these techniques at an institutional level - more here. My question is - Can an author reap the benefits of authorship in all search engines simultaneously without linking to Google + and becoming entangled in the Google Circles phenomena? I know don't laugh. 🙂 I know it seems like an ignorant question, but there must be a way. Is there a possibility of doing this with Author Schema's http://schema.org/Article? Will Google treat them the same way as Google +? My clients are not happy about getting so entangled with Google + and leaving out the other search engines. Thanks Carla

Makeoverfor our Facebook page titles! question about open graph and Google

Hello, We have two Facebook pages for our company, one in English and one in Arabic. A few weeks ago we wanted to change the Facebook page titles but this option was not allowed for both pages. Now Facebook is giving us an option to change the title for both pages: We had a lengthy discussion regarding the best way to name our Facebook pages. Currently our Facebook pages titles are: For the one in English: "X" ( X - our brand name in English*) For the page in Arabic: "X - Arabic" ( X- our brand name in English*) We agreed to change the title for the page in English to: X - (The main 3 keywords in our brand's field in English) ( X - our brand name in English).* for the Arabic page we suggested to change the title to: X - (The main 3 keywords in our company field in Arabic)** ( X - our brand name in English).* **** We will translate the main 3 keywords to Arabic** We have a few questions: - How does the search work in Facebook? Does the open graph algorithm take into account the page's content and/or its title and description? - Is there any preferred way to name the Facebook pages? We were debating using the company's slogans versus the main keywords for our brand. ? Or should the title contain just the brand name? - What components of the Facebook page title and URL affect our page's visibility in Google for a search on our brand name? It's important to mention that Google currently does not show the Arabic page in the 1st page in Google. Thank you in advance for your help!

Which URL should I share with Facebook and google plus ?

Hi, My question is which URL should I use with the share plugins of Facebook and Google Plus.
Should I use the URL of the website or of the facebook's page / google's + page? By the way , may I ask what's the source of the FB Shares that Moz present in the advanced keyword analysis report? and are those shares are of the website or of the facebook's page? Thanks,

Problems with Google Analytics social tracking

Hi folks, Any GA experts out there available to help with a social tracking problem we've got? In short a client is using a ShareThis plugin, but the data we're seeing in GA doesn't correlate at all with the share counts showing on the plugin. Huge discrepancies in fact. Google+ Business page just not showing :-(

Good morning from Pollen level moderate wetherby UK pass me another Benadryl Plus wetherby UK Having jumped into the world of Google plus my objective was to create a business page that would appear when the Google+ serp is clicked on. Unfortunately my labour & toil has not paid off 😞 Having created a Google+ business page & set it to default ( I think ) it still points to the vanilla Google+ page. How much of an impact does Google+ page age have?

Do Google+ pages gain authority with age? Does it matter very much if I wait a few months to make a Google+ page as opposed to establishing it now, even if I won't be doing much work on it for a while?

Google + Rules on Running Product Giveaways

I read in the Google+ Guidelines that running a contest, sweepstakes or other forms of contest is against the rules for Google+ However I have seen a few contests going such as share this with your friends to get entered to win. How is Google enforcing this rule? My company runs product giveaways each month on Facebook but I did not know if I would get banned for posting a link to it or building content around it on the Brand Page. I figured I would ask before I get in trouble. Thx
