Tracking Rankings In Google

Is there a way to see historical rankings of your site in Google. I have a site that has been running for a few years now. I want to see how are Google Ranking has performed throughout the years. We recently redesigned and suffered in rankings but I only know(from Google Analytics) What our traffic used to be, not what our rankings were .

There isn't a way to do this in Moz Pro Tools, but I believe there is a way to do this in some of the upgraded (paid) subscriptions for SEMRush. I think even there, there is a limit to how far you can go back.
If you changed any of your URLs when you went through your site redesign, you may just need to audit old links, new links and your 301 redirects to make sure all of them are functioning as expected.
Ultimately, the rankings that you had are really less important than what your traffic is telling you. It could be that you inadvertently took down some highly linked and highly visited pages, and, regardless of rankings, that's hurting you now. One thing you can do is backtrack in Google Analytics and look to see if you had specific pages that were producing a lot of traffic before that aren't now. That will help you zone in on the problem and fix it.

All ranked pages on Googles SERP only links to home
I got a problem regarding my website called musik.dk, and hope you guys are able to help. I just got my first ranking results from Moz. My question is: All my keywords are linking to the home page, and not the artist page? For examples if I were to search on Rihanna on Google, then when musik.dk appears on the SERP, it only links to the home, and not musik.dk/rihanna.. This problem applies to all the given artists ranked on Googles SERP, it never shows the artist page itself, only links to home. Let me know if you need any information, and I gladly supply, this is kind of frustrating to me.. As a note: all pages besides the home has a PA of 1, and it doesn't really seem to change. | toronto storage | 3 | > 50 | 2 | 50 | One thing to note is we measured this on the google.ca which is also what we have setup in our campaign settings. This isn't the first time we have noticed inconsistencies, is there any way to resolve this in future ranking reports?0 -
Why do the Ranking Report emails differ from the acutal Ranking Report?
I have been noticing that the Rankings listed in the emails are far different from the ones in my report once I log in. Any idea what this is about? Often the rankings in the email are much better then in the report. And I am talking about on the same day as the email was sent out, not a week later.

Why my seomoz keyword ranking are different to google SERPs
I use Cute Rank to check my keywords ranking in Google, but after last update seomoz is showing some of keyword ranked much higher than Cute Rank. I checked them manually and they are on positions showed by Cute Rank and not by Seomoz. Can someone explain me why is that?

Can Google see all the pages that an seomoz crawl picks up?
Hi there My client's site is showing around 90 pages indexed in Google. The seomoz crawl is returning 1934 pages. Many of the pages in the crawl are duplicates, but there are also pages which are behind the user login. Is it theoretically correct to say that if a seomoz crawl finds all the pages, then Google has the potential to as well, even if they choose not to index? Or would Google not see the pages behind the login? And how come seomoz can see the pages? Many thanks in anticipation! Wendy

Has MozTrust predicted fall in Google rankings???
The definition of MozTrust is:
Moz Pro | | driansmith
"MozTrust is SEOmoz's global link trust score. It is similar to MozRank but rather than measuring link popularity, it measures link trust. Receiving links from sources which have inherent trust, such as the homepages of major university websites or certain governmental web pages, is a strong trust endorsement." That being the case it is quite disturbing that a number of websites have been hit very badly by the latest Google algorithm changes that did indeed have very respectable MozTrust rankings. Can I ask whether anybody has carried out any sort of analysis of MozTrust versus negative impact in Google rankings? The prediction would of course be that websites suffering from a lower MozTrust would have been hit quite badly by these recent changes.0 -

Linkscape update tracking
I've got two questions really. First, is there anyway to compare your current Linkscape updates with previous updates? Second, I've made a concerted effort to gain accumulate links in strong performing domains over the past 3 months. However, Linkscape does not seem to be finding those links. Some of them are pretty straight forward, like Yahoo Directory (this went live last month). Is there a lag time between when I link to a page and when Linkscape picks up. Thanks,
