Social Media + MOZ Open site explorer

Hello Everyone,
When i run a report on Open site explorer, it says that our website has 129 Facebook likes and 129 tweets.
However, our website has had over 4k Facebook likes and i imagine much more than 129 mentions of our url on twitter. Can any one shed any light on this?

I support with Yusuf's answer.
It picks the count of mentions in the specific URL (homepage), rather than cumulating everything under the domain. I guess, MOZ needs to work on that to get a good match with our actual mentions from our internal reports.

I have a feeling this might be because Open Site Explorer reports on the number of Facebook likes on a given URL (e.g. your homepage) rather than the site as a whole - which is the 4k figure you're referring to.

Analytics tagging on social media links
Curious: do you all tag your social media links with Google Analytics parameters? I know Google Analytics automatically tags referrals from social channels, but I am interested in possibly adding additional tracking parameters to links that I share and potentially promote. If I tag my social links with GA tracking codes, and they are shared widely, do I lose any potential SEO value from those links? I know Google isn't necessarily factoring in social shares from Facebook, etc. yet, but it would seem that, since tagged links are ones that we've influenced, any shares of that link would potentially be considered unnatural? Wordpress Social Button Plugins Change
Hi Guys, I'm thinking of changing the plugin I used on my blog for people to share my blog posts on Facebook, Twitter and Google +. If I do this, would I lose all shares (meaning that all the buttons would go back to 0, I know the shared content would still appear on people's profiles)? Thanks, Carlos

Should each domain have it's own social media ?
Hi, were in the process of creating multiple domains and sites for each country we plan to operate in, should each site site have it's own set of Facebook, twitter you tube accounts etc? I realise this will create more work in administrating each site and corresponding set of social media accounts, but does it have benefits ? As we'll need to do it anyway in different languages, does separating the English languages accounts make any difference carry any benefits? Thanks,
