How Do I Track AdCenter Keyword Data in Google Analytics?
-
Like everyone else, I am looking for new ways to gather as much keyword data as I can in the wake of the dreaded (not provided) epidemic. This question focuses on keyword data from Paid Search. We all know this is very simple with AdWords because the data is right there in Google Analytics. MSN adCenter, however, is a different story as these parameters need to be added to the end of each destination URL. Here are the parameters I'm using:
utm_source=Bing&utm_medium=cpc&utm_term={QueryString}&utm_content={AdID}&utm_campaign=Leads
Everything is working well with the exception of {QueryString} which is returning nothing. I would really like to solve this issue because I do not have the time to add specific parameters for each keyword in all of my campaigns. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Hey, sorry for not getting back to you quickly!
I currently use {keyword} instead of {querystring} in my bing parameters because I'm sending the information to Google, and I know that Keyword works already from using it in AdWords. Try this and let me know if you see anything change!

How to know competitors keywords for adwords
I want to run google campaign for adwords and I want to target keywords that my competitor is ranking for. How can I know what are the keywords that are helping my competitors the most. Is there some way so that I can know what my competitor is bidding for those keywords. I heard it also depends on the landing page quality. Please suggest the best strategy to run adwords at lower cost and yet perform well. I am willing to run campaign for this website . It is basically meant to connect manufacturers representatives and independent sales reps to businesses. Any suggestions are welcome.

Is there a way to track visitors that watched my video on YouTube and became a direct visitor to my website after the fact?
I am trying to understand the impact my commercials are having on website beyond just the clicks I get from YouTube as a referring site. Google is telling me there is not a way to track users that have viewed a video. I am trying to think outside of the box to figure out a way to use the remarketing cookie to my advantage. Google says there is not a way to track a user that watched a video and then eventually came to my site. But at the same time the "Earned Views" metric is similar to what I am trying to accomplish. As per Google, "An earned view occurs when someone who views your video ad and then watches another video or videos in a linked YouTube channel within 7 days of the ad view." So I want to be able to apply this same method to people that view my video ad and then surface on my website eventually. Please let me know your thoughts on this and if there is a way to accomplish this goal. Thank you

How Do You Remove the "Google Site Stats" Tag from a Conversion Page
Our company does not want it up there. Is there a way to remove it without have to change the conversion tracking code? It's quite a pain given our internal processes to overhaul many conversion codes. Is there an easy way to do this so that we can simply remove the tag?

Keyword Domains for PPC
I have a client who wants to buy a lot of long domains with keywords in them, for example, thesandiegopetstore.com (this is fictional) and then set up a PPC landing page for each. They think that when someone types in "san diego pet store" that their domain will be listed high and then they will get a lot of traffic. My concern is that they will own a lot of domains for their company and I thought Google is getting pretty adamant about companies not having a lot of domains, and I thought that keyword domains are not as effective as they used to be -- that branding is more important now. Also, I think the domains they've picked target very competitive keywords and that perhaps they will get a lot unqualified traffic and will still have to pay for the clicks. What do you think? What is the best way to set up PPC landing pages?

Keyword domains for AdWords - duplicate content an issue
Hi guys, A client of mine has bought a raft of keyword domains for use in an AdWords campaign. This isn't my area of expertise, hence the question. They have a hosting account which can host an unlimited number of domains. Can they set up the domains with the same content on each site and then use AdWords to drive traffic to the sites? I've suggested they can use rel="canonical" to specify that the preferred site is the main site of the company which should bypass the duplicate content issue. Is this the best way to host the sites or is there a better alternative? Thanks in advance, Brendan.
