Why is the crawler following form action links?

I have an issue with one of my sites where the SEOMoz crawler is following some form action links. It is my understanding that the crawler will ignore these links. Why would it not be ignoring them in certain cases. If you need more detail, please ask. Thanks.

The crawler is designed to emulate the Google crawler's behavior. It isn't perfect, but crawlers will follow all the links they can.

If you require more details, an example URL with the specific links you are inquiring about would be helpful.

Link check via open site explorer not working?

Not sure why this is happening but when i run our site though open site explorer it is only coming back with 1 link yet we have at least 10 - 20? our site is https://www.fastlabels.co.uk and i tried without the https:// so www.fastlabels.co.uk Any help would be appreciated.

Hi, I run a campaign on one of my new clients in the links report - i see 1970 - external links and i can press " see more in open site explorer) when i press the button, open site explorer is opened but with a message that there is no link data on this website any advice? Is there a way in the Pro reporting where I can see a summary of the number of incoming links by type (blogs / news / wiki / dir / forums etc)? Even better, could the report give me an average Page Rank for each link type? Thanks,

Crawler has stopped crawling my website

Hi all, I recently changed my site www.ipbskinning.com to ipbskinning.com. For some reason my weekly scan states that no pages have been crawled. I tried making a new campaign with the sub-domain ipbskinning.com but still the starter crawl returns nothing? Am I doing something wrong? :S Thanks all!

No follow link

Hi There, We pay for our site (www.residentialland.com) to appear on a popular property site: http://www.homesandproperty.co.uk/ When I use Open Site Explorer, it is our top link, but it has 'no follow' above it. So I had a look at the source code on the homesandproperty website and I cant see any nofollow code that would effect our link. I also used this tool which confirmed it isnt classed as a no follow link: http://www.seorankings.com/tools/nofollow-link-checker Can anyone else tell me if our paid for link on homesandproperty is a no follow, or if it is 'search engine friendly' so to speak? We pay for links across their site, so we want to get the full benefit. Any help would be appreciated, Thanks, Rob

Competitive Link finder tool

I tried to use competitive link finder tool. it says that it will identify 10 most important links that my competitor get that I do not. The results that I get are inconsistent with linkscape tool. For example my competitor has a link on www lawyer-links dot info Google rank of that site is 1. Is that really one of their most important links?
